It's 5:20AM in LA right now and today's my the first day of school semester so I woke up a little early to go to gym and damn new G-Unit EP came out.
I gave it a spin and man great fucking first impression. The production are classy mafioso/grimey 2005 G-Unit sound.
Watch Me basically sets the tone for the rest of the EP and if this is how the new G-Unit album is going to sound, I'm definitely getting my copy at November.
Even Kidd Kidd came correct on this one, he must be learning from 50 and Banks. Dude sounds much better than his previous works.

Just give it a try. I don't think Kidd Kidd was that bad on this EP. He came correct on all 6 songs.

The LOX may have started the EP trend last winter actually with theirs, seems to be doing well for these dudes

They were fresh compared to the other shit going on now.
I find that with a lot of artists that were popular in the early 2000's that I may not have been feeling at the time. With how shitty your top of the charts rap music is today, it really puts it in perspective.

Only place I see negative reviews about these tracks. No surprise though. Boston Celtic forums aren't going to post optimistic things about Kobe's return this year either lol.

I grew up in LA most of my life and even I don't have that much loyalty to Game. Good music is good music. And Game flipping over every now and then kinda make me believe 50's words rather than Game anyway.

Listened to 1st track. Not bad. Listened to the song Changes. 50 should stay away from this type of track. I just think of him taping Young Buck and other disloyal shit. Turned in off and put on Beg for Mercy. Now that's ggggg-unit!

the videos G-Unit has put out have been on point
everybody I've shown this EP to has said it's either dope or asked if it's old/unreleased music which says a whole lot about it's quality, pretty much only lames can't ride out to this with that being said 8)
