Title: New J. Cole album in less than a month.

J. Cole has announced that his next album is titled 2014 Forest Hills Drive and will be released on December 9, the same day as the first part of Lil Wayne’s upcoming Tha Carter V.

The album is set to include 13 tracks but no other information about the music was released except that the project will feature no singles.

In addition to the announcement, J. Cole posted an iTunes pre-order link and released a short documentary about the concept behind the album.

“I’ve gotten to this point in my career and realized that, yeah I got a lot more dreams and I wanna go further, but at the same time I don’t want it if it’s at the expense of my happiness,” J. Cole says in the documentary. “And I don’t want it if it’s at the expense of my sanity or if I have to become someone who’s so out of touch with what’s real: the people that love you and the people that you love. There’s a lot of people in Hollywood right now who have been there for a long time and they’ve forgotten about their small-town lives because they like this life better. But this shit ain’t real.

No singles? lol, this could be the last we hear of J. Cole lol.

lol, I can see that.

Strange though, his last album did pretty good numbers & his singles were poppin' all over the radio. Don't know why he's going off the deep end.

he's not going off the deep end. This is how ALL releases should be like. I respect the shit outta this. He has a strong fanbase he is still gonna sell

Just a Jay-Z gimmick plan. No way Cole has the authority to make a decision like this.

hes gettin dave chappelle on us and i like it, lets see if a fairly popular rapper can make it without radio play. dj quik has had a decent career doing it

J Cole is a boring rapper wit no real style , his style of rapping isn't anything special and he hasn't really made a song that was anything special or great .
