Heres my attempt at a proper sounding version of Detox, I included reference tracks as well, FIXED up alot of the tracks, everything sounds as close to cdq as were gonna get lol its sequenced perfect too...the whole album BANGS START TO FINISH...enjoy

Thanx for posting and taking out the time to put this together, enjoyed it, never heard some of these songs before, the songs flowed well together, Dre might never release Detox but at least this makes me feel like I got my own personal copy, Major props to "Tha Crip"

I have the two versions that are out there (tagged and an edited but awkward sounding version), just didnt feel right for it with the way they are. A full untagged verson would'a definitely fit tho

Again, good work Crip... cause this gives me at least some idea of what Detox might have sounded like...
...however, that said. After one listen through I'm pretty disappointed. I thought Detox was the bomb, because I had only really heard tracks like "Topless", "Kush", and "I Need A Doctor", "The Recipe" (which actually had Damian Marley on it before Dre altered it for Kendrick).
...but all these other tracks I'm now hearing for the first time, I'm not feeling. These other tracks have none of that signature Aftermath sound from before and it seems there are quite a few outside producers.
It doesn't stand up to the King T and 6'2'' fanmades I've been bumping the last couple days.

Understandable. The Bishop Lamont solo version sounds super clean but that version was obviously not meant for Detox.

Wanted to keep this as close to Aftermath affiliated (artists and producers) as possible. Everyone on this was signed or worked directly with Dre. Crooked and Luda weren't for their reference tracks...plus the production sucks on those tracks lol

+1. Nice job on this. The tracks seem to flow together pretty well in the sequence you have them in, on here. I'm sure I don't keep as up to date as some on here in terms of what has leaked, but there were a few of these that were definitely new to me. Thanks again.

crook did a great job there. woulda been the most wordplay dre ever dropped on a beat. only the flow was pretty basic, as if he tried to capture what dre would usually rap like. thing is, many writers could do that but only a verse like in Forgot about Dre will be remembered as something special.
of course crook is more than able to write something as dope but he played it safe flowwise.

Not sure, been a while, since the file says created in 2010, right around the time Kush came out, so it was probably intended for Detox.
The hook sounds properly professionally mixed & crisp. so I dunno if the Doctor had a hand in it or not.
