That's the real story behind yankie doodle, the feather n macaroni....

In Australia, to say one was going kangaroo shooting was a euphemism for hunting down aboriginal people..

I remember something about nikka bokker, nikka bokker, number nine..... But I can't remember the rest of the rhyme.... Where I grew up, nikka bonkers were three quarter length pants....
