Title: Royals showing last season wasnt a fluke- 1rst place for most of the year
Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on June 27, 2015, 08:19:38 PM
All u mufuckaz woofin all dat bullshit don't know dat da royals da wrong ficcaz to fuk wit.... get lit bup by da best bullpen in history in it to win it, showin and prove.....

The rotation makin da circle cipher, bullpen throwin rings of fire, 100mph and higher from herrera, davis and holland...

And what do you know, now moose is finally let loose he's a changed man and new hitter this yr, last yr the shift had him in a twist, but now he hits it to all sides just goin wit da pitch and givin it a ride....

They sayin wit gordons defense and solid bat dat he might command 100mill as a free agent in the offseason...

Kendris moralis is having a big comeback season replacin butler at DH meanwhile Butler is an overpaid and overwieght failure for billy beane in oakland, I love billy beane but what the fuck was he thinkin givin dat dude 30mill for 3 seasons, royals pretty much just cut him in the offseason optin out on his last yr

Then u got our south american cats all signed to long contracts all underpaid, which is good cause we ain't got da cheese da yankees got so its great that we locked down pablo escobar, perez, and ventura long term for little money, they say perez is the most underpaid player in the league, so kudos to GM dayton moore

Lorenzo Cain in centerfield, last years ALCS MVP may be one of the most under-rated players in baseball and after bein a top prospect for years Hosmer has finally arrived as a player and is now behaving like a dependable veteran presence on the team

Wish we had kept Aoki though, because rios is one of those players who gets banged up too easy and then doesn't play well thru injuries

Our pitching depth is amazing, we got former Atlanta Braves star Kris Medlin comin back from Tommy John after the all-star break as an 8th starter-and our 6th and 7th starters Young and Blanton havin great seasons in their late 30's fillin in for injured starters, duffy finally came back off the DL and looked really sharp in return but Ventura is still a concern...

...thanks for reading and please post any comments or questions about the 1rst place royals defendin american league champions

The Royals are legit. However, I tend to go back to the thread a few years ago that you made about how you were done rooting for the Royals cause they had let you down so much. Doesn't really work to come back and talk shit when you literally said you were done with them just a few seasons ago.

Yeah, I had a melt-down... but I even kept followin the team thru the lean years when Jose Guillen was our highest paid and most known player.... so although I had the meltdown I don't think I would've ever stopped followin them....

Well considering the yankees payroll is 3x the royals payroll I would hope they could win a few games.  To be honest there are only 3 teams I fear the royals can't beat in the post-season... that's the yanks, cards,  and tigers always play the royals tough

the payroll excuse, how cute  ;D

Royals haven't won a title in how many years now? 35?

so it is not an unfair advantage when a team has triple the operating budget the Royals do?   Gordon is gone after this season and soon Hosmer and Moose will follow the next year when their contracts are up.  It is impossible for the Royals to pay for them at that point, but the Yankees can easily sign all 3 of them if they want.

How is that not an unfair advantage?

you like living in the past, don't you?  the yankees haven't been big spenders in free agency since '09  - why do yout hink they let Cano walk and didn't sign Scherzer?

That was their choice, because they saw just simply throwing money at players doesn't always work.  The point is that they had a "choice" in the matter, whereas the Royals do not even have that "choice".  Think the Royals wouldn't have liked to have held onto their ace James Shields?  Of course they would have liked to have that option.  But it wasn't even an option for them, they simply didn't have the money and they knew way in advance that their was no chance in keeping Shields.

Fuck that... it's because of Shields that we even got there.  Without Shields we would of probably had a losing season.   He always leads the league in innings pitched, I mean he held us down all season long, he just got ran down and worn out in the post-season.  But ask anybody in KC and they will tell you just how much Shields meant to the team in those two years he played for us, he was a leader and taught the other players that losing wasn't acceptable anymore.

dodgers have been quite awful during Lebron's entire lifetime.  I don't think he worries too much about them.
