I just hope one day that Chuck D would mentor Flava Flav in how not to be a constant fuck up.  I never heard Chuck getting in trouble with the law.  Am I the only one who just couldn't get into other public enemy albums not named It takes a nation of millions to hold us back album?  I heard a few other songs on their other albums, a few songs I was feeling, but not like the nation of millions album where most of the songs are likable.

I think of Chuck D as a conscious lyricist, not someone who panders to popular culture, thus making him a legitimate standout, not to mention one of the fore runners in the founders of hip hop race... He takes social issues n with integrity n genius spits out profound knowledge with an artistry uncommon in gimmicky gangsta rap.... And because he doesn't cater to the whims n fancies of degenerate pop culture, he's managed to survive as an independent musician in a genre that is constantly being subjected to pigeon holing by music exes and typical fools who are only interested in poppin bottles, strippers n weed... He's been around how long??? And yet, your flavour of the month spends a minute on stage n you praise him like he's Jesus reincarnate....
As for Flav, I look it from the point of view of someone who has fucked up repeatedly, doun the same stupid shit, repetitively, only to swear to sobriety which leads to wishing you were high, cos the intoxicating euphoria of legal n elicit substances is so tempting n readily available, n all you need is an enabler, so you fall off the wagon, repeat the same mistake, wake up n realise how lucky you are to have a support network of friends and or family and try again....
If your so concerned about Flav, instead of being obnoxious n sarcastic n implying that Chuck D has somehow failed him, why don't you research substance abuse, do something that could benefit all drug abusers, become a narc  try n rid the streets n society of narcotics and realise how fucked up n corrupt this world really is, take up drinking n solve all life's problems by burying your head in the sand and pretending none of this shit exists....
