San Jose to be exact, I may take an uber or train to San Francisco for a day too... I just need to know where the weed spots are at and which venues to hit up for any rap shows, also any non-chain restaurant spots that anyone can recommend
I haven't been out there since 2008 when I was 17, hyped to get out of CT 8)

im about 1.5 hrs south of san jose and crippled not getting out much. theres good weed everywhere in the bay u wont have a problem finding it and its real low key everyone basically acts like its legal. san jose is more like a suburban area, a whole lot of people but not as exciting as oakland and san francisco. there are some cool nightclubs and stripclubs though. i would definitely recommend heading into san francisco for a day and night if u can, the nightlife is popping and theres a lot of shit to see in the day. tons of hot young college bitches out partying u can easily get laid there as a tourist. i feel like if u go to the bay area for the first time and didnt see the city u missed out

and if youre with someone with a ca medical card and want to really shop around for weed i would recommend harborside heath center in oakland or the smaller one in milpitas(north san jose basically)

would I be able to just walk into any dispensary and pick up bud as an out-of-towner with no medical card or does that only fly out in Colorado? I heard you can cop up to a half ounce if that's the case and a full ounce if you're a resident of the state
also I wanna hit up any venues if I find any shows popping cuz most Bay cats are NEVER touring on this side of the country

no u need a ca medical card and if your buddy had one u would have to wait outside but u can check out the lil menu online before. its all medical no legal recreational buying but if youre in the bay area smoking weed most cops wont even care. havent been to much rap shows up there, i usually go to the catalyst in santa cruz for that its about half hr south of san jo real cool venue really small but gets big names and gets wild

yeah I'm definitely gonna be getting weed regardless of how lol the last time I was out there I didn't smoke regularly at the time so I never even bothered looking for any, even when I was down on Haight & Ashbury in Frisco
on a random note Rasputins was an ill record shop, can't wait to stop by there again too... other cool spots in general y'all know about please let me know 8)

Yeah, having been through San Fran a number of times to visit family it's a great place, would highly recommend checking it out to just about anyone.

If you like partying and in to nightclubs and shit hit up Santana Row in SJ.
Also in SJ
- Pink Poodle strip club
- Todai sushi & seafood buffet
- Bay 101 if youre in to shitty casinos
- Iguanas (burritos)
Ultimately SJ has grown the fuck up a lot in the last decade. Still not as 'cool' as SF or Oakland but still good times to be had.

this spot is the most professionally run dispensary i ever been to, shit was like a real medical clinic foreal n this was back in like 06-07

Santa a row is really nice but a lil too upscale and fancy for me, like u said san jose is more grown up. Some good restaurants tho. Pink poodle is another story ive seen some crazy shit go down in there and the neighborhood right there. Its not a titty bar, its full nude but they dont have a liquor license so u got all these drunk idiots walking from there to the ofher bar and liquor store down the street all night and lts in a shady area of sj

If i were you id go to the San Pablo Lytton Casino its in Richmond. You could aslo apply for a career if your looking for a job.

Yeah they turned into the New Hampshire Fisher Cats like 10 or so years ago. I grew up in Maine and went to Portland Sea Dogs games who were in the same AA league pretty darn regularly.
On topic: A lot of the slummier looking dispensaries here in southern cali let you get away with buying grams without a doctors note or card. Wouldnt necessarily recommend it because those are the ones likely to be under fed surveillance the most and bound to be raided which still happens pretty frequently here.
Dont really know about the bay. Totally different place. Only been through there a few times. Been meaning to check out san fran and oakland sometime I see they got crazy a$$ sh!t going there.

Bad idea dude. Airport security is really tight these days, not worth the risk.

I fly quite a bit these days, security has ramped up a lot between the post 9/11 scare and now. Just not something I'd risk, not worth it.

I've traveled with buds quite a few times, but only out of Cali. Never the other way around. Seems silly to risk getting popped for bringing buds into the bay when its so easy to get here. Worst comes to worst just IM me and I'll walk to a dispensary and help you out.

Ive brought weed on planes and i dont think its worth it for u, if u get caught youll get in trouble with the law plus your whole trip is shot. U will be able to get it up threre no problem

dude who served me at the place was mad cool (as they all were), chopped it up for a good 15 minutes about Bay rap... the funniest shit he told me was that Messy Marv is "finished" out here when I mentioned him and his biggest downfall was heroin and dissing Mac Dre/Jacka which I wasn't even all the way aware of lol he was definitely impressed that an east coast head like me appreciated Bay music that much
