Title: [Anticipation Thread] Mistah F.A.B. - Son Of A Pimp Part 2
Post by: Dogg Ly Dogg on April 23, 2016, 01:16:48 AM
If you're familiar with the Bay Area scene, you probably remember the first one which dropped 11 years ago on Mac Dre's imprint Thizz Ent.
Well, Mistah F.A.B. is ready for round 2 apparently and announced Son Of A Pimp Part 2 for May 27th! When the first volume was a regional classic imo with a sound definitely new bay/hyphy with all the cream from the bay, part 2 will atempt to approach all hip-hop fans with a crazy list of guests like Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Snoop Dogg, Crooked I, Tech N9ne, Boosie Badazz, Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B., 2 Chainz, Devin The Dude, Jadakiss, Bun B, Trae, Paul Wall, Z-Ro, Raekwon etc without forgetting about his bay peers like E-40, Too Short, G-Easy, Keak Da Sneak, Iamsu, Keyshia Cole, Erk Tha Jerk, J. Stalin, The Jacka (RIP).

I like the tracklist. Don't like Jadakiss's verse on "What's your hood like"... I still remember his freestyle on Sway show. He was savage on it.

Some of these tracks were announced years ago and finally will be seeing the light of the day. This should be a solid album.
The Kendrick/Crooked/Kobe collab for once was hinted about around 2011-2012, so hopefully we are getting a K. Dot verse rather than the more recent Kendrick style
