Some of the song names of this tracklist are actual Game songs that already exist... for instance he already had a song called "The Chronic" on his soundtrack earlier this year

he didn't have a verse on that one though, he was only on the hook... maybe it's a solo version of the joint or a whole different song

I have a feeling that this will be another quickly thrown, solid project on par with streets of Compton and block Wars, as opposed to a meticulously crafted project like doc 2/2.5

I don't know. The other two projects were done to advertise something and would have been completed fairly quickly, whereas Game announced 1992 last year so it would appear that this will be a more carefully crafted album.

After first listen:

1)savage lifestyle - 4/5
2)true colors / its on - 5/5
3)Bompton - 4/5 the old DoC beat.
4)Fuck Orange Juice - - its short.. wont rate
5)The Juice 2/5
6)Young Niggas 3.5/5
7)The Soundtrack 3.5/5
8)I Grew up on wu-tang 4/5
9)However do you want it 4/5
10) Baby You 3.5/5
11)What your life like 4/5
12)92 Bars 5/5
13)All Eyez (with Jeremih) 5/5

Overall 4/5 for people who like Game, 3 for people who dont.

It has that 90s feeling, not the gangsta side, but the smooth side.

to be honest like every Game release now days I'm disappointed, the cover art and 1992 made me think this could be like a doggystyle album, but theres not 1 west coast beat its all mellow boring beats as usual with no re play value

A nice reflection of the 90s with a mixture of modern themes.

Samples are solid.

This album samples a lot of old popular tracks and even though I think Game did that to reflect how it feels in 1992, it sounds corny...

this album is great, front to back Game is rapping his ass off... but some of these fans need to make their damn minds up because first it's "oh Game needs to stop rapping over modern industry beats and do old school sampled instrumentals" and then once he does just that it flips into "this is corny, these samples are redundant" smh lol can't please everybody I guess

interesting how he sampled "It's Funky Enough" and on the very next track says "I'll D.O.C. any rapper's throat"  ;D

most definitely way above Streets Of Compton and Block Wars and about on par with D2/D2.5 (without the features of course)  8)

This.  I personally thought the samples were weak and predictable.  Producers on Soundclick could do better.

Album is dope. Love the 90s concept and how the the themes of the songs blend. I like it over The Doc 2 as it makes more sense to hear a rapper in his late 30s rap about gang banging when it is from a 90s mindset and the beats are better with the samples from that era. Wish more rappers put thought into their projects like this instead of a bunch of songs about nothing under the excuse of being an album.

Now I see why Game uses so many features .. His style gets stale quick. I mean, album is dope, regardless.. But he's much better at doin a verse or 2 than carryin a song on his own. For an entire album, it's just too monotonous .. Some hitters on here, but doesn't seem like the replay value will be there.

I find it funny that Game had jumped in the beef that Tyga had with that Chicago rapper (forgot his name, don't fuck with too many newer garbage rappers) because "Tyga is his homeboy" now he braggin on this album about seeing Black Chyna's (Tyga's son's mother) fuck face. That's some snake shit.

I kind of agree with Sccit on this one. I really wanted to like this album and for some reason was hoping that it would be similar to The Red Room or Brake Lights which for me are some of his best work. This was not the case at all, however.

This album is dope as hell and have grown to become a personal classic.

I love that Game listens to his fans - Album has nearly no futures, no radio friendly songs.. just dope songs from Front to end.

If you played it once and was like it was Aiiiight... then play it again, becomes doper and doper.

Red Room and Brake Lights had some cool joints but definitely not some of Game's best work and certainly nowhere near the level of this album lol

I agree with ike 80% of what you say normally Sccit, but this album just grows and grows. Game is dopest MC in the game atm for me, and this album went from aiight to classic to me, his wordplay is strong, stories is great and flow is good.

Jesus Piece is a dope album, but to many quests that shouldnt had been there - See no evil, Name me king, Jesus Piece, + the bonus tracks Holy water, Blood Diamond and dead people isi good songs to. - But Doc 2+2,5 + 1992 makes Game the best rapper 2016.

I thought Jesus piece was underrated, the best songs on Jesus piece are better than the best joints on here

not a chance lol

See no evil >>>>>>

ok I'l admit MAYBE that one but "Savage Lifestyle" and "However You Want It"  >>>>>> everything else off that joint lol

i been listening to this album since it dropped, classic indeed 8)

Classic? This on the level of Jesus piece brodie .. Which I thought was good, but far from classic

I agree with ike 80% of what you say normally Sccit, but this album just grows and grows. Game is dopest MC in the game atm for me, and this album went from aiight to classic to me, his wordplay is strong, stories is great and flow is good.

This is a real solid album and it's nice to listen to a Game album with virtually no features, the only bad song is "All Eyez On Me ".

I give it a solid 4/5 8)

Baby You sounds like what men say to women cos they think we weak for flattery.

I spose its a skill.

If Game being genuine I respect his honesty, the soft shit, the harsh truths.

The instrumental reminds me of the 80s and the singing reminds me of 90s rnb.

Nice teack.

Havent listened to a game album since my obsession qith Bigger Than Me and my last game purchase Jesus Piece.

If its not on youtube or a free link I dont listen no more.

I had the red album and listened once and didnt like it except for Martians Vs Goblins then listened last year when I was unwell and it sounded like a completely different album.

Dont listen to music much no more but a friend on twitter encouraged me to to have something enjoyable to distract me from symptoms of illness.

I refused to at first but have slowly been listening to the odd song here and there and am feeling the theraputic benefits even though I have no fandom left in me.

This album had some great records in the middle. Young Niggas, The Soundtrack, The Juice, etc were some of Game's best work.

He should've skipped that Block Wars project and put the best songs from that project (Get High, Alameda) on 1992.

Overall, very solid project but still not better than Doc2, Jesus Piece, Doctors Advocate, Documentary, or LAX.

I havent read this whole thread so thanks for critiquing the album. I consider game very talented and loved previous albums such as DA & Documentary.

100%, I actually made a playlist with those 2 specific joints thrown in the mix...  a few from Streets Of Compton could have fit in as well

SOC definetly fit the 1992 mold. Unfollow Me Bitch, Roped Off, Like Me are all incredible.

None of the joints off SOC were incredible .. The closest one was the jellyroll joint .. Pretty much everything on this album is better than that project

"Gang Signs", "Like Me", and "Death Row Chain" were all vintage Game joints but for the most part I agree with that, those cuts along with "Get High" and "Alameda" could have easily fit in on this project

Death row chain was the only stand out track to me , the rest were solid but not vintage game

That's some snake shit.

also said he fucked Kim Kardashian yet he's still good with Kanye, it's life and dudes end up fucking the same females sometimes

Obviously you missed my point. Let me simplify it and put it in terms you might understand. Say you're feuding with someone on here in a thread. I feel you're that much of a friend, I jump in the thread and check his ass in defense of you. Then a few months later I'm on here bragging about fuckin on the mother of your child. Wouldn't that be some dirty shit? It's not about guys runnin up in the same chick, like you said it happens. That's part of peers running in the same circles. But at the end of the day, that's not just an ex, Tyga has a child with this woman. What would that look like when his son grows up and maybe here's the song and hear his so-called friend of his father's rapping about fuckin his momma. If you feel you that much of his friend that you jump in his rap beef, you should be that much of a friend to not rap about fuckin the mother of his like that's honorable. That was my whole point man, and I you disagree says a lot about you.

Finally checked and

This album samples a lot of old popular tracks and even though I think Game did that to reflect how it feels in 1992, it sounds corny...
It's not a bad album but like someone said, it should have been a mixtape!

+1
