Yo since the doggfather anniversary edition leaked which featured another version of May I Im doin this thread.
On this version Malik is featured on the third verse rappin over Snoops part, so what was the intention of that ?
Was there originally a verse from him on the song ? Was he supposed to spit the third verse ? Did they intend on makin it a back n forth track since Snoop talks about "the two of Us" ?

What's the "Anniversary Edition"? Was that a real album put together by Death Row that never dropped, or is it just some fan based album?
There are probably more versions of "May I" around as Death Row was known to make multiple versions of tracks, sometimes 5 different versions of the same song

It's a project that Bomb1st put out. It has alternative versions of some songs from "Tha Doggfather" and some unreleased material.

Im almost 100% sure that this wasnt the case, sounds too much like snoop & also malik was like 12,13 years old I dont even know if he wrote his own material.
Always wondered that about "Pump Pump" if that was really his writing (he was 10 at the time I believe (!)) or Snoop/someone else wrote that part for him to spit

maybe so, Snoop had a lot of people writing for him during that period though, Tray Deee, Bad Azz, Kurupt, Deadly Threat, etc.
