DJ Quik working on a album with Suga Free .
It's titled Planet Capricorn (both are born in January).
Ice Cube confirmed on the album.
Quik featured on last night episode of J Rocc's "Adventures in Stereo" on 90.7 KPFK Los Angeles radio.
He also plays rehearsal bootlegs (just like Prince), a new 80eight track produced by Quik himself and a Michael Jackson "Heartbreak Hotel" Remix made by him and Greg Phillinganes, also Quik spoke about mastering, he wants to be the new Brian Big Bass Gardner..

Great news, but what about Street Gospel 2?
And then the stuff he's supposed to be doing with Hi-C, AMG, and 2nd II None? And his next solo?
I try not to get hopes up too high because I don't know if any of this stuff will ever see the light of day. Quik usually doesn't flood the market with his stuff, but he sure has quite a bit in the works lately. Can't imagine all of this actually dropping in a timely manner, hope I'm wrong. I just wanna hear Suga Free over some more Quik production. I liked his song from the Rosecrans album.

and now we know (in case you didn't) who should have been trusted with remixing MJ's posthumous releases. quik would have knocked it out the park vs that timbaland crap we got on the last one.

Coo show and great listen, I'll look out for that artist eighty8 or whatever the track was knocking, it's an up to date sound that is popular right now, but on some Quik shit, and damn Quik has some cards up sleeve the MJ track was smooth ... dope listen props!!

Quik's last few projects have dropped at the top of the year, so maybe early 2018? Or preferably, tomorrow :D
