This is great. Props to everyone who provided links and split the file. Would be nice if someone could do a remaster someday.
I really like this era of Crooked I, he sounds great over these smooth type beats. Sort of along the same lines as "Dipp To This" off that unreleased 19th street files. Best part is someone was nice enough to leak this for free and didn't try to charge for it. I know I would have paid for it if someone offered it on the dl.
Wonder if this was really all recorded before his deal with NooTrybe. I heard he had a complete solo album with them, and also a complete solo album through C-Style's 19th street records (which is where Daz got some of his songs when he was going to release his Crooked I project through DPG records). Would be nice to hear those two albums someday. Plus all the incarnations of his album he recorded and re-recorded on death row about 2 dozen times, this guy probably has tons of material in the vaults still.
-
Is there a way to download is to my iTunes? All I have is an iPad.

You hit the nail on the head with this point.
This music is meant to be heard. It's unfortunate that some people are holding music hostage and had no part in creating it.
A lot of this music has not been preserved properly and once it's gone it's gone.
Get it out there, it's 2017 folks. 8)

I agree with Soopafly and EFFeX on this one. It's a shame that people hog 20+ year old music instead of leaking it for the fans. That's the reason it was recorded in the first place after all

Yeah, I mean, my fear is that the few that are hoarding these unreleased albums on their hard drives are going to experience some kind of data loss and then it's gone forever. Let it get out there so it can be preserved among the masses.
I mean people obviously aren't retiring on the money that they thought they would amass by bootlegging these projects, so let's get going. I mean, no one is going to care about this old music in 2030, let alone 2018, lol.

after further listening this shit is a goldmine for West coast heads
sure the UH OH original wasn't nearly as good as the released mix but outside of that and rat a tat tat we got all new shit
I'd say some of this has to be Noo trybe given the uh oh having a Marilyn Manson reference for example
also notice certain lines crook reused on Watch ya back with sly boogy

+1 to Okka

This is brilliant.. even love the quality, has a similar feel to Soul on Ice OG/pre-release

Those retards ? I don't understand. I mean, this is Dave Swang himself who leaked this album 🤔
-
I salute Dave Swang for releasing this though. That was real big of him to do that. Shows a real appreciation for both the fans and the music in general.
I also want to touch on my previous comments. I did not mean those as a personal shot at anyone. I think that there is a lot of cool people out there with a lot of that unreleased music. I also understand the commitment involved in getting their hands on these records as well.
I just think that in the past there has been some tactics that I did not entirely agree on and there have been a few that have left a dark cloud over the whole scene.
Ultimately I just want everyone who are die hard fans to get their opportunity to hear the music.
