If I was Danny Ainge, I would ask for players & the #2 pick for the #1. It's so obvious the Lakers want Ball & Lavar has fucked it up for them to where they have to make an effort to draft him.

It's at the point where getting Fultz is almost a major disappointment to the team's future, even though he may go on to have a better career than Ball. Boston got all the leverage.

Boston could even threaten to trade it to another team, who will almost definitely draft Ball over Fultz.
