I like "Only One Me" better than anything on "I Am The West". I don't understand why he would add new songs to an old classic though. No need to touch it.

makes sense to add new content to give it a face lift and for people not to think they are a retard for buying the same album like collectors :D

My least favorite Ice Cube album. Love Color Bind though. Didn't know for years that that was Coolio on it.

Yeah, i get that, but it's still dumb to add new songs to a '91 album and then to top it all off, they're the first three songs, so it feels like he's adding these songs to the actual album and they're not just bonus songs.

Wish they'd add some unreleased songs from the 91 sessions, or some demos, rough mixes. Put the radio mixes of the songs on there that have alternate clean lyrics. Look that the anniversary album from the Beatles that just came out. A bunch of alternate takes, different mixes, etc. They need to be doing the same thing with these classic rap albums.

Yup, can't understand why he didn't just lace up another disc of alts and unreleased jams from the era instead of that super jarring flow transition and beat selection.

I got that reissue too but I had to get this new one as well for the new tracks, i didn't want to just get the mp3s; if it's worth it enough for me to have it, then I want a hard copy. Plus, I got to support Cube, if hardcore westcoast rap fans don't do it, who will?
I want too see what he does for the Predator's 25th Anniversary, and maybe Lethal Injection next year. Did Cube do anything for Amerikkka's Most Wanted's 25th anniversary? I have the OG pressing of it but never checked for the anniversary edition. Imo Ice Cube's first 4 records were all classics.
