Listeners tuned into the Questlove Supreme podcast this past Wed heard Snoop Dogg reveal that the original beat for 'Nuthin But A G Thang' was the famous intro beat to Southside Movement's 'I Been Watchin You'. Snoop started rapping the first few bars, which left me wanting to hear the whole track. So I made it happen. Listen below to hear the story and the blend.

This beat was used in 1993 by Brotha Lynch Hung for his lead single "24 Deep" taken from his very first album EP recorded in 1992.
Jadakiss used it too. "Show Discipline" (feat. Nas) is a classic.
