Fresh at work HMG Universal Studio New Kurupt solo album is on its way R u Ready?
Did Kurupt sign a deal with Universal or somethin'? I hope he's talkin' about the new album with Fredwreck.

That would be dope, but i'd rather hear an album with DJ Muggs. Kurupt has spoken about both of these in the past.

I recently found Streetz Iz A Mutha on vinyl so I’ve been on a Kurupt/DPG binge lately, that being said I’m here for new Kurupt 8)

Kurupt is just awful now. Survived by production only.

AN ALBUM ENTIRELY PRODUCED BY FREDWRECK WILL BE NOTHING SHORT OF CLASSIC....HOPE HE FOLLOWS THROUGH WIT THAT 1

I'd like to hear an album with some legit West Coast beats but more importantly, with written verses. Kurupt used to murder every beat but he and a lot of other rappers just jump in the booth and see what comes off the top. I'd like to hear some fine tuned, crafted lyrics and delivery. Both he and Dad sound better when they're a bit more mellow with double time rhymes etc...

his last album "Streetlights" was really dope...that was 9 years ago now though
will be interesting to see how much he has left

Streetlights aged very well actually, gave that a spin in the ride a few weeks back for the first time in years and even the weaker songs on there sounded better to me now, definitely some classic joints on that album

Hell no i want a savage kurupt .. death row style
Still banging against the grain album..

Fixed, sadly.

This is the one stain on 2Pac's resume, imo. He ruined a lot of the Death Row artists. You know that quote from Kurupt I think it was "We used to take 2 or 3 days to make a song. Now we make 2 or 3 songs in a day. That's 2Pac's work ethic rubbing off on us." The quote goes something like that. Anyway, Pac took the perfectionism training that Dre taught his young artists and gave them the wrong lesson to speed through their songs and not worry about quality control. Ironically, the DR artists who didn't work with Pac kept up their quality -- Rage in particular.
This is all to say, if Kurupt is taking so long to release another album BECAUSE he's acting putting quality control into this one, then we could have surprisingly a good album from him. But I wouldn't count on it. Also, his voice is so thin and raspy now, screaming and drug use really took its toll. I'm not getting my hopes up.
