According to Betty Jo, Nate recorded the vocals with her and Fredwreck in the studio .. Betty was supposed to be Nate’s upcoming artist. supposedly, they have more work together too. she decided not to release their work due to the respect for Nate..... Fredwreck apparently lifted her vocals off the joint, redid the beat, and gave it to Paak. she doesn’t seem too happy bout it either..

Nate's part in that snippet Betty Jo released has been around for many years already, don't know what's she on about "keeping it sacred" and what not.
And I doubt sitting on unreleased music and not dropping it for the people is what any artist would want after their death anyway. No one creates art and says "I'm just gonna stash it in the basement for nobody to see/hear".....
