I wanna know what that bout?
Rage - get with the wickedness
Following line..
Lyrical murderer, that's why I'm on Death Row
Lethal injection couldn't, fade me
So, Suge and Dr. Dre scooped me up and paid me
-
I think its just a coincidence, I wasn't aware of any beef between the two
she also was in Next Friday so any conflict that might have been was deaded
-
Yeah, I don't think that was a diss at all.
-
lethal injection is something they use on death row to kill inmates lol
it’s a metaphor.. not a diss brodie
-
Lethal injection is also the name of cubes album. Looks to me like cube match her hence joining dre(ex nwa) and suge.
Could metaphor to mean cube.

could be a subliminal knowing Rage's lyrical proficiency. there was some sort of competition at the time so even if it's not a diss on a street level it could be a subliminal on a competitive rapping level. also, there are other subliminals aimed at Cube's camp on The Chronic ("Is where it takes place, so when asked, your attention / Mobbin' like a motherfucker but I ain't lynchin'" on Nuthin but a G Thang and "Then we gon creep to South Central / On a Street Knowledge mission / as I steps in the temple / Spot him, got him / as I pulls out my strap / Got my chrome to the side of his White Sox hat / You tryin to check my homey, you better check yo self / cause when you diss dre you diss yourself muthafucka" on Fuck wit Dre Day. Kurupt also throws a subliminal at Cube and them on Puffin' on Blunts and Drankin' Tanqueray ""Death Row ain't Lynchin and the Pound aint Mobbin' / We all don't give a fuck, run in your crib and start robbin"), which is weird since Cube is in the Let Me Ride video, I'm guessing they squashed it by the time the video for Let Me Ride was shot in late 93.

especially now that everybody's cool with everybody.

I would agree with you except for this lyric was recorded 3-4 years after Lethal Injection.

it simply doesn’t work because “lethal injection couldn’t fade me” only works as a subliminal if the album lethal injection contained disses to rage.
at best she was inspired by cube and used his title to fuel the rhyme, but nothing about it seems subliminal given the context.

Parts are as such:
Lethal injection
Death row
Suge n Dre
Says lyrical murder hence on deathrow where lethal injection is administered yet suge n dre scooped her away from deathrow?
Clear only logic is she was way better than ice cube and his team . Maybe an offer was made by cube that she didnt agree to hence landing with suge and dre...subliminal YES.

I see what you're saying because had they started beefing I bet they would have said those were disses. But they didn't beef so basically by the point her album came out Death Row swept everything under the rug. Keep in mind her album was done in 1994 and they were remixing it for three years until it came out.

This is the album she completed in '94? That's news to me. Rage was never involved in the beef with Cube and said she doesn't need to diss anybody 'cause she got skills.

Not true. She did a handful of songs in 94 but did most of the album in 96 and those were not the same as the 94 songs.
