Title: "Deep Cover" 28th Anniversary
Post by: Okka on April 11, 2020, 02:03:33 AM
A day late, but I had to post this.

One of the greatest songs of all times and it was the start of Death Row.

If I remember right, Snoop was on Drink Champs and he said him and Dre never performed this song together (I've seen performances of the remix though), but look what I just found. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg (with Xzibit, Tray Deee, Nate Dogg and a whole bunch of other people) performing "Deep Cover".

EDIT: Snoop actually said that Dre doesn't like the song.

That was hype... I was so young when I first saw this music video I actually thought it was real... I thought "These guys sneak around at night plotting a murder and they put it on video tape!!!!  They could get arrested!!"

Then when I heard "Rat-tat-tat-tat" on the Chronic album I thought... "Oh No, I hope the cops don't catch Dr. Dre" ;D
