Does anybody here still have this remix Daz made of The Game's "Westside Story"? I'm also looking for the version of the song that has Snoop doing the hook instead of 50. I lost both of these years ago.

I was looking through my externals earlier. Sure I have the Snoop original, I'll upload it. Never hear of a Daz version though.

I always thought the Snoop version was worse.  He sounds a lil too soft to me.

I listened to the version that has Snoop on it (for the first time in years) and I gotta say I remembered it sounded better or maybe I'm just too used to hearing the album version with 50 Cent, but I like it better. I also found a version that has both Snoop and 50 doing the hooks.

I was always confused why some were saying the Snoop version was better. He sounds very feminine/soft on it.  Just out of place.

it’s the one most of us had first, so u get used to it soundin like that

if u heard the 50 version first u would naturally like it better due to familiarity

I don’t think the snoop version is the original, I remember reading the 50 version is the original but 50 is from the east an they wanted a west coast rapper, but the 50 version sounded 10 times better and 50 was the hottest rapper at the time.

I remember west side story feat 50 and higher with an intro where the first songs I heard before the album dropped and how we do got an different name because it was an old Dre beat from Dre or something. It could be in an interview or a comment somewhere I really don’t know, but 50 wrote the verse so it could be possible that the 50 version is the original. Somebody should ask, 50,Dre or snoop in a interview about this!
