yes i remember a dre interview from this era, he told us he was ready for that duo album but snoop wasn't.

nope. its a song and name of the whole album that dre and snoop was working on together in 1997.

Post by: dnjp4life on June 24, 2021, 05:05:05 AM: If everything had come together right and Dre and Ice Cube had recorded Helter Skelter, with tracks in the same vein as Natural Born Killas, it would have been one of the greatest rap albums ever, no doubt about it.

I remember anticipating Detox dropping back in 2007-2008, and its a real shame that Dre didn't have the confidence to drop it. Similarly, all those pictures and rumours from last year about Dre making something new had me excited, but I'm starting to think we may not get anything after all.

I feel the same way...Dre notoriously takes a lot of time between albums but its been 6 years now and not a hint of anything :grumpy:

Maybe it's a generational wealth thing and he's just going to let his kids put together posthumous compilation albums when he's gone for a stream of income ???

Probably so but likely unfinished verses or other people's worl he didn't add vocals to yet.

This would be my first choice above everything else, especially with Sneed and Flexx ghost writing and producing. Next would be Detox from 05-10.
