they said the reason he got a 3.5 is because he sounds like kurupt. what a buncha dickheads.
now i dont have this album yet, but a lot of other people are angry, so i assume it deserved a higher score.

I hate the source, and I could give a fuck about other people's ratings. But I believe that Roscoe's album doesn't really deserve much more than a 3.5/5.
I may even give it a 3/5. I mean its really nothing that special at all, its a good album, probably avg or a lil above avg. Anyone claiming this to be a 5/5 is on crack.

The Source is on point for this one. 3.5 mics is exactly what the album deserves, nothing more, nothing less. I couldn't justify giving it a higher rating. What's funny is that some of these people will be bitching at The Source no matter what, I bet if Roscoe got 5 mics people would still complain, LOL.

Man, thats fucking bullshit. I felt this album was solid from start to finish. The fact that he got less than 4 mics even further solidifies my hate of the source.

Agreed. It's a good, solid album, but it's nothing groundbreaking whatsoever. There's not a song on there I don't like, but at the same time there's not a song on there that I couldn't find elsewhere. 3.5 is just right.

i think you're missing the point of our argument. everybody and their mamas know that the source would've had a much more generous review had roscoe been from ny. a solid album doesn't receive a 3.5 from the source. like eminem said "3 and half which means you a piece of shit"

I see what you're sayin', but I'm not sure I agree. Besides, as much as I side with Em in the Aftermath vs The Sauce shit, I'm not sure you can take Em's highly subjective take on the magazine's rating system to be representative of every album they feature.

I woulda gave it a 3.5....nothin higher than 4 nothin lower than 3. It ain't anything special, it has some coo summer tracks but like 5 songs on there were already played out on radio or either released on the net a year or two ago. They are on point with the review, but if the ONLY reason they gave it that "low" is because he sounds like Kurupt then they are dumb.
Some of their reviews are on point...but some are waaaaaay off, and it's usually the best ones that are way off.
