You project a complete and total lack of empathy for the 4,000 innocent victims in Afganistan! You also have conveinently overlooked America's questionable involvement in over 100 countries across the globe. America has troops in over 100 countries! Kabul, in Afganistan used to be a very peaceful, tolerant city with socialist (Soviet) leanings. America, worried that the Soviet's would gain economic advantage of oil pipelines in the surrounding area's, helped to fund the strict, fundamentalist Taliban regime. Ronald Reagan called them freedom fighters. He helped turn them against the Soviets and they after a bloody war they threw the Soviets out of Afganistan. This war left Afganistan in ruins. America, after planting the seeds for war in Afganistan, turned it's back on the regime that had helped them drive the Soviets out.
A company called Unical owns 75 percent of the oil up here. And what they wanted was a pipeline to come down through Afghanistan into Pakistan into the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, as an outlet for the oil of that area. The Taliban didn’t agree. So the US flooded them with carpet bombs in July 2001.

Thank you for those kind comments but it upsets me that you have grossly misjudged my brother Tech. Fundamentalist only means that you maintain a strict belief. It is upsetting that you have confused the term fundamentalism with terrorism. However, I can not blame you because America's media has brainwashed you and closed your eyes to the truth.
Moreover, there is nothing natural about looking out for yourself. Islam does encourage self-preservation but not at the expense of another. This is why Allah outlaws man vs. man practices such as gambling. There is nothing natural about being corrupted by power. What is natural, and what you will find in nature, is that we are all servents to our creator, the most high. There are two unalterable truths. Life and Death. Allah has dominion over both. We would not be here if it wasn't for our creator and everything functions in a related effort to maintain his beautiful creation. If you rebel against the maintenance of self and disrespect the creator then you are a rebel of Islam. It is natural to give charity and be submissive to your Lord.
