For 3 weeks. then we drifted apart as boyfriend/girlfriend, never really broke up, or anything, but it was really hard. We stayed friends, but 3 weeks after she moved, we weren't kissing anymore. Sucks too, so far she was the love of my life.

It's depends on the person i imagin. but yeah, in my experience i have 0 hope in the matter...It takes away the whole poing of a relationship cuz u never see each other...the best about a relationship (imo) is jus bein with ur girl, nothing's better esp. when u content on jus bein with each other,anything else is a bonus ;)

feel ya on that one... waaaay back i was with this hottie from about 15 miles away. i was quite young at the time... so of course... no car, and no money. now i live in a big ass valley between two sets of hills. her village was up next to the sea.. uphill all the way. i used to hitch a ride with anyone from college going in that direction and end up stranded there late at night. dad had to rescue me a few times (which was a 50 mile detour since he worked in the opposite direction outta my town) or i'd end up crashing at the houses of people i barely knew..
and as for recently... irc folx know what i'm like - lol... about 3 months back i broke this canadian girls heart :'( (we still cool though) where my affections are currently pointed is 3/4 hours drive away (with no m-ways in between :'()
long distance shit needs more trust and patience than your average relationship.
