Damn, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, and Hamas all signed onto a 3 month peace treaty with Israel, and Israel's already pulled their troops completely out of Northern Gaza, and say they're going to turn control of the area back over to the palestinians. I guess miracles do happen.

This road map is fundementally flawed, and Israel is only going along because they're hoping a Palestinian civil war erupts.

It comes to my mind faster because Israel is supposed to be a democratic state, with freedoms etc etc. Its going toe to toe with a "terrorist" group. The Israelis have managed to fuck up almost every single peace process. And they will sabatoge this one. Cmon, you think the Likud are serious about this. One outpost consisting of two garbage cans does not constitute removing illegal settlements.

^^ That's not a bad idea, though I kind of don't mind homos. I mean, think about it... they're just eliminating the competition for us. There's only so many women in he world; as it stands right now, there's 2 women for every man. This is mainly becuase women live longer, and have a slightly higher birth rate. Anyways, I digress.
If men keep hooking up with men, that means they'll be less men to date my.. our women.

There will never be true peace in Israel unless a left wing government comes to power. Because of the nature of the political system in Israel, you can only come to power if you form a coalition. And so Sharon, a right winger, forms coalitions with EXTREME right wingers. These guys are totally opposed to any removal of the ILLEGAL settlements, and unless Sharon acts as thee majority in his coalition want him to, he's out of there. Bush has got the first step right. Regime change (or at least a shift in power) in Palestine, form Arafat to Mazen. Now there has to be regime change in Israel.

naw, i think its just a summer break. It gets pretty hot there in the middle east at this time of the year, temperatures go to 45 degrees, especially where i lived. So its really hard fighting at this time, also the soldiers needed a break perhaps. WAr may continue from september onwards.
