Title: Where were you when 4,000 Afgans died?
Post by: infinite59 on September 10, 2002, 09:16:38 PM
4,000 people in Afganistan have died over the last year at the hands of the US.  I was here at home, reading it on the internet.

^^^^Sure.  And here's a quote from the article...

"Now, for the first time, a systematic independent study has been carried out into civilian casualties in Afghanistan by Marc Herold, a US economics professor at the University of New Hampshire. Based on corroborated reports from aid agencies, the UN, eyewitnesses, TV stations, newspapers and news agencies around the world, Herold estimates that at least 3,767 civilians were killed by US bombs between October 7 and December 10. That is an average of 62 innocent deaths a day - and an even higher figure than the 3,234 now thought to have been killed in New York and Washington on September 11."

Rest in Peace to those that lost their lives in Afganistan, America, and all over the world.... God did not give favor to one country over another.  All human life is valuable.  May God show mercy on their souls.

I have different views on that situation since it was a millitary act and not an act of terrorism, but paying respects to the victims in Afghanistan is more important at this time.

RIP to all the innocent that were lost due to war

One who believes in the afterlife will hold a greater responsiblity to moral truth and virtue.  They will conquer struggle with patience and faith in their Creator.   They will not become make friends with oppression, nor accept difficulty as the eternal truth of life.  Idea's do not exist in the physical body.  They are in the air and a part of the soul.  What Plato and Socrates described as the world of the forms.  These do not die with the physical body.  Our god-conscience continues to exist as our eternal soul.

So if you are angry at Islam for teaching that the conscience will be rewarded through faith in the power of the Creator; then please offer a better solution.  And tell me of something that is more worthy of our worship then the Creator of the Universe!!!!!!!

the people who die in afghanistan died on accident, the u.s. didn't purposly decide to go kill some innocent peeps.....hell if that' the case then the US purposely tried to kill thousands of woman and children in the north and south during the civil war even though that was one of the things they tried SO desperatly to avoid . in every war the innocent die it's something nobody wants but can't prevent no matter how hard you try

the muslum "guilt" you people are putting on the US is the same guilt black are putting on you infinate becuase you are white....it is not fair and it is so biased

god bless and rest in peace to the dead may you end up in a better place

and all evil that was wiped out during this war on terror may jesus have mercy on your souls

infinite, WTF, all u do when ppl make an argument is make a long response that criticizes the person over something they havent said at all, and u dont even touch what the arguer is tryin to tell u...so basically all ur tryin to do is win by confusing the other person and not talkin about the original topic...when the fuck did i tell u not to believe in ur "creator" all i was sayin that u said all ppl are equal, but why are non-believers of islam destined to hell?

PS> i think ur smokin something too much, and its not only juss da weed
