Were the people of Germany, who passively, or strongly supported Hitler more ignorant then the people of America are today. Maybe not. They were forced into a desperate, impossible situation, which created the product of the Nazi regime.
Similar to what is now going on in Iraq and Cuba, World War 1 left Germany economically strangled. Devastated by the conditions imposed by the peace treaty. Large sections of Germany were carved out and handed to Poland. Another section was carved out to be part of a new nation, created by Woodrow Wilson and Prime Minister Loyd George that didn't even exist before world war 1. The reperations imposed were impossible to meet. Germany could no longer be prosperous. The restrictions enforced upon them made it impossible for them to survive as a country. Because of these conditions imposed the people of Germany were ripe for someone like Hitler to come along and say, "This is not right!" These people in Germany were not barbarians or low class primitives. They fell for Hitler only because of the extreme conditions that existed!!!!!!!!
America refuses to lift it's embargo on Cuba making it impossible for Cuba to succeed!!!!! And then if Castro and the people of Cuba show any anger towards America they are called evil!!!!!!!
United States has bombed Iraq steadily for the last 10 years. We bombed Afganistan 3 years ago. Sending troops into Somalia. Bombing Sudan. Having troops in 100 countries around the world. How would we feel if China had troops stationed on our soil!!!!!!!!!!
God can't rid the world of evil. Neither can America!!!!!

1. In World War 1 we fought Kiser Wilhelm and Emporer France Joseph of Austria to make the world safe for democracy.
2. That war only paved the way for Hitler and Vladimir Lenin to come to power.
3. So then we set out in World War 2 to rid the world of these facist governments.
4. And that only replaced those evils with the so-called evils of communism.
5. Now we have a War on Terrorism. And once again this war will only plant more seeds of greater terror, and greater international war fare.
We need to make like Sweden and stay out of the worlds problems!!!!!!!!!!

200 years ago, when sweden decided to avoid wars, they did have alotta power, they were one of the stonger military nations... now swedens military is not that great... but my oint is that sweden is not avoiding wars because of military problems, but because of willing to have pace with other countries

Uhm...200 years ago the military powers of the World were Britain, France and Germany mainly, with the US making progress. Checl up on your history man instead of just making comments like that just because you live in Sweden and I don't.

i dont think Germany was a huge world power 200 years ago, didnt Germany make that transition when Bismark took over, thats when Germany was unitied consisiting of Prussia and parts of the Austrian empire?

Russia were one of the strongest nations, and tey were defeated by Sweden, Sweden alse defeated Denmark and Fnland.. isnt that enough?? if your answer is "no" you obviously dont know alot about war...
