FUCKIN BULLSHIT
That really gets my blood boiling because that was what this country was founded on. One nation under God, whether its Allah, Buddha, or whoever you believe in. That's the beauty of it.
Some athiest fuck who shouldn't even give a fuck about the Pledge, has to bitch about it and ruin it.
IF YOUR PUNK ASS DOESN'T LIKE IT THEN GET THE FUCK OUT MY COUNTRY.
And thats how i feel about it.

damn......i remember that, we havent been sayin it since we've been in high school, but ive mumbled that ish since kindergarten thru 8th grade, and i still dont know the full thing, lol

Slowly yet surely, the moral fabrics of American society will unravell
Your society despises my religion for being backward, but this is the price of being "modern"
Slowly, God will be completely erased from your world, replaced by the almighty dollar

I pledge alliegence, to the flag, of the united states of america. And to the republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Somthing like that. Haven't said it since Kindergarden. They've been making people say that in elementary school for years all over the US.

That's why so many people are pissed about it and its being appealed. I got high hopes that it won't be removed, but you never know.

Actually, I was pissed to. But I look at it like this, the pledge was written in like 18--something. "Under God" was not part of the original pledge and wasn't added 'till 1954, the same year my dad was born. I for one say that it's fucked up, as you can't just say fuck God. But it makes sense if you think about it. Personally, I think Communism is starting to take over. Damn Commies, I thought we got rid of them in 1991.
-
Actually communism is a pretty cool idea, but no country executed it properly as they were all fucked up and were in it for their own personal interests
Oh and if they messed up your pledge to be politically correct, imagine if you had our national anthem
"God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen
God save our Queen
Send her victorious
Happy and glorious
long to reign over us
God save our Queen"
And the second verse tells you to kill Scottish and French people
lol

word....communism is fair....everything is split equally among the nation.....but dictators used their power 2 dictate...which didnt work out well
-
But the Communist also eliminate religion. Which is very hard for me to take being Catholic and all. And this caused major problems in Soviet Russia at first, because they tried to tell the Muslims that religion was forbidden, and the Muslims killed the Soviet officals. Then Russia evenutally split it so where the bottom part were seperate counties that were under the Soviet Union. You can't kill religion, and you can't kill God. Communism is a great idea, but can never work in the reall world. And they say the Pledge ruling wouldn't last anyways. It's expected to be overturn. But if not, then we return to our original pledge.

That's exactly what's going on.
Our society is based on equality for every human body that steps foot on its ground... however our people, from civilians, politicians and so on, don't even stand by our own constitution... how many of you wake up in the morning saying
"I'm Proud To Be American... I love our independence... since 1775..."
No one, not until thousands of lives were killed, destroyed, burned, crushed did we even care about who we are as a country... when 9/11 happened, my school implemented a daily pledge to the flag... which is total bullshit... for my whole 4 years at that school we never ever spoke up about our liberty, our justice, we never said the pledge, but when two towers fell, it all of a sudden became wrong if you didn't say it... how fucking "indivisible" are we... now, in June, 10 months later, we slowly, but surely forget the the incident that rattled this country... we don't stand for each other, we could give a fuck less about the person standing next us...
so when people tell me to stand and pledge to the flag, of this beatifull country, I say... Fuck You, we were built on a constitution that isn't even followed today... we live by the dollar, we die by the dollar...
I think it's beatifull to see someone step and say... it's unconstitutional, why? We have never lived together... why try and force us as one...we are individuals with our own beliefs, are own decisions and such... when we can realize that we are different, we can then accept and respect them, and then, we will stand for each other... and then we will become a beatifull country, with liberty and justice and for all...

i agree that the pledge should get a boot...it promotes religion...which isnt right!

It does not promote religion.
I guess we gotta change all of our american currency and rewrite the declaration of independence too since they mention God.
Lets face it people, God is apart of America's history and is still part of America today and there is nothing anyone can do about that. So you can change the pledge but the past can't be changed.

and while we're at it, let's take Washington out of the history books for praying at every battle.
