Title: shouldnt be freely annoucing the capture of sadem
Post by: Pillow on June 03, 2002, 11:07:52 PM: what do you all think about CNN and other news stations repeditivley talk about how the US is going to go after sadeem? i personally feel its BS because he can watch out news whenever he feels like it and can see what we are saying. and when he sees we are going to come after him, he can jsut very easly prepare with nucs or other such weapons. BAD move on the governments part, but whats new...........

Threatening gives way to peace many times, becuase if you threaten he consequences of something, it leaves time to rectify the problem. I think the major problem is the inspections and any possible terrorist links, so if Sadaam would just WORK WITH US, instead of being a jerk (I mean, how can anyone not see this guy is evil, he won't do anything as any sort of goodwill gesture).
