i disagree with Timbaland, although i do think he goes through phases of extreme wackness.But i suppose you could say that about a lot of producers. Im gonna have to say The Neptunes - im sick of hearing the same shit in every song they produce.

Primo is kinda startin to get overrated, almost every song he produces is dope, but it's startin to get hella formulatic

But Premos beats still sound better than Timbaland's anyday, so I don't really care how original Timbaland may be. To be honest I haven't really felt a Timbaland beat since his earlier work with Aaliyah.

Timbaland does beats that a lot of Underground artists do. He just has more money funding him, so they sound more professional.
DJ's wise. Kay Slay and all them aren't really DJ's. So, yes, they're overrated. I'm sure they can mix, but they can't test Beat Junkies, Scratch Piklz, X-Ecutioners, etc.

Well, I like all sorts of Hip-Hop, and one of my favortie sub-genre's is what you people call "backpack Hip-Hop"...I also think Timbaland is one of the best, and most influential producers in the game. I believe that everyone respects Timbo, from hardcore Esham fans, to softass Lil Jon fans...PeACe

Most of them will sound like the reasons Clue is overated. Lil Jon comes with some hot beats, he jst makes sure all the tracks sound a like(Yeah, What, Okay,... Dj Clue, Desert Storm, Killumanati!!!)... P. Diddy samples other people's tracks that were hot about 5-10 years ago... Irv Gotti uses the same tracks he has given to other people for his people... JD jsut gives you One or Two hot tracks and pretends your album is tite while he rapes you as Executive Producer.... Then they get credit like the did something. >:(
