Title: Three 6 Mafia - The End
Post by: That_Cracka_J on June 19, 2002, 09:38:37 AM
Three 6 Mafia – The End

1. Our arrival…intro
2. Stomp…Evil sounding production.  All members lay down dope lyrics over the tight production.  5/5
3. Money flow…Great production with a hint of a dark feel.  Tight flow, matching perfectly to the A+ beat.  Nice hook.  4.5/5
4. Late night tip…R&B flavored track about fuckin’.  Quality production matched with hella tight delivery.  5/5
5. Gotcha shakin’…Dark production sounds great with the dope lyrics.  Good hook.  4/5
6. I ain’t goin’…Nice delivery of lyrics and a good beat.  Catchy chorus.  3.5/5
7. Good stuff…Smooth laidback beat.  Lyrics are laid down in a stutter-step style.  Tight ass hook.  Very different and unique high song.  5/5
8. Walk up 2 yo house…Tight revenge song.  Nice production and lyrics.  Good hook.  3.5/5
9. N 2 deep…Laidback production.  Content is about choices in life.  Everybody puts down a nice flow.  4.5/5
10.   Last man standing…Another dark sounding beat.  Matches well with content.  Nice sample of ‘Alwayz into somethin’.  3.5/5
11.   Destruction terror…Decent production and nice delivery of flow.  Hook uses LL Cool J’s vocals from ‘Mama said knock you out’, which sounds good against the production.  3.5/5
12.   Body parts…Flow is average, but the beat is boring.  Features the Prophet Posse family.  3/5
13.   Where’s the bud…Very slow beat.  Tight weed song and hella catchy chorus.  4/5
14.   Get ‘em crunk…All around average song.  3/5
15.   Where da killaz hang…Sinister sounding production.  Tight verses and hook using Master P’s slow down vocals from ‘Bout it’.  4/5
16.   The end…Tight instrumental
17.   Life or death…Hella tight production matched with hella tight delivery on verses.  Hook uses 2Pac’s slowed vocals from ‘Bomb first’, which fits here perfectly.  4/5

OVERALL…9/10

Three 6 Mafia’s second full length nationally released album.  Quality production has an overall dark and evil feel, which goes well with the members lyrical content and delivery.  Their flow is rapid here and there and slowed down in other parts, but it all fits together nicely.  Very high replay value.

;D ;D ;D

This and Mystic Stylez are the only Three 6 Mafia cd's I would ever buy.
This cd is classic if u like that crunk stuff. This is them at their best. They have definitely fallen off though >:(

I dont know what your talkin about mane.  3-6 is always comin with hot releases.  They got the  best beats in the game.  When the Smoke Clears has some tight shit on it and I'll admit that it did have flaws.  Chapter 2 is a classic album.  That shits better than The End in my view.  They are hurtin when they keep losin all these tight members but the production is always on point.    Project Pat cd's have been tight as is the recent DJ Paul album that was releases.  Just listen to the beats if you don't believe me.  They got Memphis on lock and the the only reason they aren't blowin up like everyone else is cause they keep it gangsta and dont try to get on Mtv.

Personally, I like their older stuff (Mystic Stylez, The End, Chapter 2)....I don't like the majority of their production now.  To me, a lot of it sounds the same.  I still like them, just not as much as I used to.
