i gave this some though and that's stupid how i said we had to rate the all the tracks outta 5 then the WHOLE album out of 10
do it however
track by tack reviews should be out of 5 or 10
and overall review should also be out of 5 or 10
whatever you feel better about doing...hell you can rate them out of 0-100% like i've seen a couple of sites dol.
this all i'm really asking of every one
just
give a track by track review
a little stanza of what you think of the album
and an overall review
anyways happy reviewing 8)

You should make a rule that for the overall rating of the album had to be the average of all the rating of the songs. Thats how I am starting to do it and it comes out more fair.

Yeah it shouldn't be mandatory but its real helpful. I noticed I have been overrating too many albums so I do it using the average to make it a lil less biast.

yeah i think that's a great idea, like y'all said though it shouldn't manditory but if you feel the need...hey i ain't got nothing against it

oh and when you're reviewing tracks and albums this is what the 5 mics mean
5 mics=hip hop classic one of raps best songs/albums of all time
4.5=classic material not really the best of rap but the best of artist
4=Solid album or Song, not really a classic but still has value over time
3.5- inbetween Solid and OK
3- OK...not really whack but not Really good
2.5- Whack
2- Gay
1.5- a 2 year old can come up with a better track/album
1- you feel embarrassed just for listening to it
