Sounds like a good album if true.  Though, I doubt there would be more of Kanye's production on this then Dre's.

I doubt the production is real

Eminem and Dre usually produce 90% of the album (as well with Jeff bass)

Yup, the only strange thing is that the reviewer wrote a statement to the outro that sounds like he really heard the song. I don't trust it though.

hell no I dont wish a Eminem CD so be like that.
It plain sucks. Fuck Halie. Fuck Kanye. Fuck Denaun. Fuck those skits. Fuck rapping about Kobe. Fuck Real Slim Shady-Type Singles. Fuck D-12. Fuck back to Slim Shady. Fuck this tracklist.

It's in no fucking way different to his former Albums. Ive expected something original, something new. Hell he dont even produce much himself. And where's Tech N9ne, Jay-Z, etc. Is this concept scrapped?

Hope to god this is fake as hell with not 1 true thing in it.

LMAO at that track called ''Writing My Shizzle List'', or whatever its called. And Em would be asking for it if he released a song called ''I'm A Racist''. I doubt there is anything truthful to this...

I'm still waiting to hear that track ''Showtime'' by Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and Eminem. It was SUPPOSED to be on Banks' album... ::)

You said that this new album would be the best since SSLP if he would not produced on it. Then I told you he produced almost every track on the SSLP. So how does your claim make sense? Atleast Eminem works along side musicians and creates original peices of music on his tracks. 99% of the time DRE just steals someone else's composition and and gets his musicians to replay it. All guys like Kanye do is sample a song, loop it, and then adjust the pitch. That isn't composing, and it's not producing. The producer's purpose is to guide the record and give the artist opinions on how to improve it. The producer's job is not, and I repeat NOT, to "make the beat" as most rap fans confuse it. Eminem is a fine producer who brings consitency to his own albums. I've not seen him produce enough for other artists for me to judge so I'll wait till later to comment on how good he makes others. Dre can sometimes make others sound a lot better and sometimes not. For the record, I hope Em produces the whole album himself, along with the usuals; Bass, King, and Resto. When they come together they bring consistency to an album.

he could tell them to change a bassline and he'd get a production credit, so whats your point? if he was a good producer like you say he is, all of his beats for other people wouldn't be trash, now would they? the fact that he gives all of them away, lets me know that even in his own mind he thinks they are throw-a-ways. if he charged money for that shit, i bet no one in their right mind would throw down money for an eminem beat.

Have you actually been reading my posts or are you just assuming what I wrote? I've read that quote before. I forgot who said it, but it is one of the stupidest things I've ever read. The drums and base are up to the music writer not the producer. What do you think Rock bands do? Come in with just lyrics and a guitar solo and let the producer come up with the rest? Well they don't. A producer is supposed to do things like raise the volume of certain instruments at certain times and give the band pointers on how to make the track better. I said this in my last post, but you obviously didn't see it. A producer does not do the programming for the drums or bass. Once he does he is no longer the producer, he becomes part of the song writing team, which is quite common, but it is not producing. A producer uses techniques to make the voice sound nicer, or have the instruments double and over lap, not write the music for the song.

"Hiring a ghost writer". This is actually what all rap producers are doing when they sample. They take some one else's music that was written by the artist sampled and they pass it off as their own. Who ever said that quote needs to get slapped in the face.

Now what would ever give you the impression that Em produces for other artists for free? You really think he would take time out of his day to work with Jay Z or Nas and not get paid. Are you insane?

we aren't talking about rock producers, now are we? haha @ the producer not doing the drum programming, are you making up this bullshit on the fly? the only thing usually not done by the producer, is cuts, or keys(which will be done by an actual keyboardist). my man has his own studio, and has worked with high profile artists, id think id know a little something considering i have watched him plenty of times before. lol @ sampling being when an artist samples something to try and pass it off as their own. i guess you never heard shook ones 2? thats the best sample ever flipped(do you know what that is?) in rap history. it sounds nothing like the original piece, but thats where havoc got his idea from. you seem ignorant as fuck to rap music, im wondering do you even listen to it? eminem said himself that when he gives his beats out to someone, he has to respect them, so, they get them for free. i wouldn't take an eminem beat if he begged me. only good thing he ever did, was the use of that soul sample, on the dying to live track.

take off the self produced and denaun porter tracks, and he could make his best album since the sslp...

That makes no sense. Okay you can take off Denaud, but Eminem produced or at least co produced all but 4 tracks on his first album. He's fine producer. Ofcourse you probably don't know what a producer is. (not meant to be an insult)
is that supposed to make him good? eminem is a garbage producer. hes worse than swizz beats. all of his shit sounds the same.

"Production time; I heard you're makin beats
But don't program the drums, don't program the keys
Don't program the bass, producer?  Liar!
Doin that shit's like hirin a ghostwriter"

On the contrary Chuck D has always been adament about Rap being considered Rock. "Rock n Roll is an attituse not an electric guitar." Accordig to Chuck.

I know what a rap producer does but the part that is "making the beat" is not producing, it's composing. However Rap has confused things by making it's fans believe that producing requires one to create the instrumental, and that is wrong. Rap producers produce, but they also compose, sort of. Look at the credits and where you see the brackets, for example:

4. Kick in the Door-Notorious B.I.G.
    (C. Wallace, C. Martin, J. Hawkins)

Now in this case Biggie rapped and Primo produced and added a few notes to the composition here and there. Screaming Jay Hawkins wrote the original song that was sampled which is why he is credited in the song writer bracket. If Primo did not add any music to the composition then he would still get producer credits but his name would not be in the bracket. (If "I put a spell on you" was not written by Hawkins and someone reading this knows that, I'm sorry I'm just writing it that way for the sake of argument, I can't remeber if Hawkins wrote the song alone or not)

Now another example would be:

9. Give it Away- Red Hot Chilli Peppers
   (Frusciante, Flea, Smith, Kiedis)

Now this track was written by the Peppers and produced by Rick Rubin, but Rick did not write any music or lyrics so he is not credited in the brackets.

Now what you said about Mobb Deep; I've been trying to figure out where that was sampled from for years. Could you tell me the original?

So are you saying there are no original rap producers and they all jack beats?

This isn't what I'm trying to get at. Not every track is jacked. My theory has always ben "if it sounds too good, it's stolen". But anyway, the point that I was trying to make is a producer's job isn't to compose the instrumental, it is too guide the overall recording. This doesn't mean that no rap producers can compose, this means that once they do they become both producers and composers. So I don't feel it is right to judge a producer based on his instrumentals. The truth is we don't know what the producer actually does. We would only know by listening to the final product and the demo. This way we can see the differences and see how the producer adjusted things.

Solos are the last thing a guitarist even thinks about when writing a song. You need a good riff to get into peoples head first. The producer will usually arrange the track and mix it so it sound right, so it can get into the heads of the listener & that they only need to hear about 10 seconds of the song for it to be running through their head and stuff, to make sure the drums arnt too loud they drown out the vocals and that you can hear the solo above the second guitarist, stuff like that. Thats why you never hear 'technical' songs on the radio, its only ones with simple melodys and/or catchy hooks("Give It Away" is a very good example as it has both). Its the same with rap, skilled lyricists very occasionaly get hit singles.
