The covers don't work. Is this the real album or a "fake-rip"?

Pretty average..
Banks was a lot better, as expected, but I actually thought Buck would be better than this..
Told y'all "DPG-Unit" wasn't gonna be on it..

Jome, do you know why the DPG-Unit track was removed? I just find it wierd that in two interviews I read Buck said their cut was going to make the final album. Perhaps that song is on the special edition?

The album has some good tracks but overall it's pretty average.  I prefer Banks' album more.

Btw, is it just me or are T.I. and Ludacris going at each other on that Stomp track?
Title: Re: Young_Buck_-_Straight_Outta_Cashville-2004-SMO
Post by: RXL on July 24, 2004, 01:11:29 PM
They are going at eachother.  Ludacris' verse was added in later though, it was originally just Buck and T.I. on it.

I'm feelin' this album way more than Bank's album. Probably because I like Bucks flow, but can't stand Banks monotone ass style.

I don't know I find it hard to like an album that lacks beats.  People listen to the beat first, then the lyrics.  Some people don't even listen to the lyrics which would explain why a lot of people think Cam'ron is the shit

Too bad Krumb Snatcha & Styles P. already have a single out, using the same sample, and making it sound ever better..

Guess I gotta listen to this album more, or we're hearing 2 different albums.
Still not decided if I'll cop it or not..

I said it before, and Ima say it again: Young Buck got the potential to release the best solo-album of the G-Unit... and he proved it. I like "Straight Outta Ca$hville" more than the Fifty and Lloyd Banks solo-debut.

Fav' Tracks:
I'm A Soldier
Welcome To The South
Prices On My Head
Thou Shall
Black Gloves
Stomp

Nah, he blew it.
Both 50 & Banks albums are better.. but the Buck album will appeal more to Southern people though.

This will not sell much either, it's been out on the net for 2 weeks, and it's still 3 weeks until the official release..
Pushing it back was a horrible decision.

...Both 50 & Banks albums are better.. but the Buck album will appeal more to Southern people though...

I'm definitely not what you'd call "Southern people", but I like his album most. I always thought he got mad talent, but he just doesn't fit to the rest of the G-Unit, because of his southern style, but if you like both styles, he always was on top in my opinion, and that's why I knew that he'll release the best album. And he did in my opinion[/i][/u].

...This will not sell much either, it's been out on the net for 2 weeks, and it's still 3 weeks until the official release...

I know that it won't sell much, at least not as much as Fifty or Banks. But that's just because he was less hyped and bceause of the release-date, as you said. In my opinion he released the best album, no matter how much he sells, I will buy his album, and I haven't bought "Get Rich Or Die Trying" or "Hunger For More" yet. Just my opinion, nothing to discuss.
