Nate Dogg working on new album??? Posted on September 29, 2002
The OG Long Beach native Nathaniel "Nate Dogg" Hale is bacc in the studio putting the finishing touches on his third LP, titled "Nate Dogg." With an October release date by Elektra, this album comes only 8 months after dropping his 2001 sophomore LP, "Music & Me." "It's the sound of the times," the west coast crooner said of his new LP. "I wanted to get all my partners from all around and put them on, everybody from everywhere." The majority of the new LP will be produced by Rockwilder along with some help from a few choice industry heavy weights from both coasts. Here are just a few tracks Nate mentioned at press time:

"I Got Game" Feat. Snoop Dogg

damn tight news i love rockwilder i think nate will sound dope over his beats.................but the big newz is 213 damn thats tight i was thinking there was a good chance for that cause snoop has come out with a lot of solo's over the past couple years and nate has 2 in the last year so now there is time for 213 it hope this will help warren get back in the spotlight

Hope this is true, those tracks look like they could be really dope, especially "There She Goes". And about the 213 album, Warren mentioned it on ROTR, now Nate is openly talking about it, all we need now is Snoop to say something official to get the ball rolling then we will hopefully see this happen!!

damn tight shit! But.... why is this info so late, i haven't seen an add anywhere, you should think that he learned of his bad sales with the last album. But anyway, i am a big nate dogg fan, so this is good news 8)

I reported that news, its 100 % you better believe. I have no idea if that October release is going to stick (Probably November) but Oct is the plan. When Nate released this info he was in an NY studio mixing the album down which is 99% complete. Nate rely had his hopes on adding one more track that Dre was suppose to do, but due to schedule conflicts he hasn’t been able to make it happen. I think the album would be worth delaying just for the Dre track personally. Also some info I left out on the 213 album, Nate said that him Warren and Snoop were in negotiations with a few different labels. That the contracts are all there, its just Snoop, Warren and Nate deciding "Where we want to have a home at, who we want to put the album out"

Tizzight news. Can't wait for new Nate material! Much less can I wait for 213! But anyhoo, I just checked Nate's site @ elektra.com and the relesase date they have there is 02/04/2003. Sounds a bit more realistic, don't u agree?

This is dope news about Nate's album, except that Rockwilder is producing the majority :( Really, he is a dope producer but i wanna hear Nate over some smooth tracks, not Rockwilder production. I think Warren and Dj Quik would be the best choices........oh well, should be a tight ass album anyway
As for 213, it is always exciting to hear news that the album is still being planned...and not forgotten!

They said that Nate's album would drop in October in the issue with the Roc-A-Fella crew on the cover. (September issue)
