well i recently moved apartments.. and the next door neighbor smokes w/me everyday and is heavily involved in music.. one of them is the music director at our college radio station, and holds his own hip hop show every week. he used to work under doggystyle records as a demo listerner and A+R and shit, which would pass them onto the higher execs. and my other niehgbor is crazy ass hip hop head, who is fuckin good at cookin up beats.. like he aint no immature fruit loops shit. hes got the whole set up with the technics 1200, the mpc's and all that.. a lifetime savings of equipment.. his group recently opened up for Lyrics Born down at KeyClub in Sunset and theyve got a massive record collection, around 5000+.. since my neighbor is the music director, all the record companies send him all the promo material to play on the radio, so he gets a shitload of stuff all the time in the mail. he gets to keep whatever he wants too, and he can sell a lot of the junk to record stores, and give the rest to the radio...so im trying to get my own radio show goin.. im going to try to ask him to get me hooked up with a job somewhere.. i cant wait to see what happens outta this..
