Some what of a random post, but this may be helpful to everyone in WCC land.

STOP USING Internet Explorer... DL and begin using Firefox today. Over 5 million people have already made the switch from IE to Firefox. Microsoft is a crooked company, with an inferior product. Simple as that.
For some other interesting computer dorky stuff...
Try Open Office.... the free alternative to Microsoft Office... superior in some ways, inferior in others, but overall a great product available for free.

And finally... the home for all free-software projects...

been using firefox for quite some time and before that mozilla. Beats IE hands down.....why would you want alternatives to office when you can download it for free?

When I have to use the PC at work, I definitely use Firefox.
At all other times I use Safari on my 12" Powerbook.

Not quite the same, Firefox is a lighter version of regular Mozilla.
When you download regular Mozilla, you also get a e-mail program, Palm Tools, ChatZilla, etc.
Web-browser built for 2004, advanced e-mail and newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing made simple -- all your Internet needs in one application.
It's 11MB, Firefox is only 4.8 or something..
Firefox 0wns though, Mozilla is now pushing Firefox harder than regular Mozilla..

I use open office over MS office for a few reasons:
1. It saves files in XML format and also in .doc format.
2. Its a good product that with support will get even better. Already is better than MS Office in some regards, and it could very easily surpass MS Office eventually. I support it and use it because I look forward to that happening.
