Kurupt Speaks Out

Posted Wednesday, September 18, 2002 by jayrome
Tonite on 100.3 the beat Kurupt finally breaks his silence. Tonite Kurupt spoke on alot of issues. First and foremost he let it be known that he is VP of Tha Row and let it be known that he tired of artist taking shots at him on record and that he won't take it no more. He also debuted a brand new joint called "I didn't change" letting everyone know that he didn't changed and he spoke on the fact that how can certain artist speak on him going back to Tha Row when they the ones that stayed down for years. Roscoe was also on the air reppin Tha Row and speaking on his album as well. Among other things Kurupt spoke on the upcoming pojects N.I.N.A and Crooked I album which will be dropping after Nina. He also mention that Tha Row is currently working on albums from Eastwood,Spider Loc and Big Foot. Kurupt and Roscoe also drop a dope freestyle lettin peeps know that if they got a problem with them come see him and get served on the mic. In related Kurupt news look for him and his new crew to appear on "Monday Night Raw" a show off 100.3 the beat.

Well......let tha beef start......if Kurupt does come off dissin' Snoop on wax then I think that 95% of it is Suge tellin' Kurupt to diss......I know that Kurupt has said that he is just a business man on Tha Row, but I see Suge gettin' Kurupt to drop a album on Tha Row......I mean, wit disses to DPG and shit, Kurupt is tha most well-known artist on Suges label.....it just makes since that sooner or later we will see a Kurupt album on Tha Row wit disses to DPG....if Suge wants to get promotion fo his label then, Kurupt is tha best way to do it.........then throwin' in tha disses to his DPG homiez......lets just hope it dont get outta hand......... :-/

I just cant imagine Kurupt dissin Snoop and DPG unless Suge is forcin' him or somethin' like that.....

lol, some funny shit you wrote there.  wasn't it SNOOP that dissed Kurupt on Welcome to the House and "Pimp Slap"?  I know this might sound incredibly hard to believe, but Kurupt actually has a reason to diss Snoop without Suge telling him so.

If this was 1995 Kurupt would really tear Snoop a new asshole...But I can't see Kurupt coming up with anything incredible lyrically to serve Snoop...Maybe Roscoe can ghostwrite some shit for him...

you're kidding right? ain't no way snoop is gonna out rap kurupt, period. you're right that kurupt has fallin off, but not nearly as far as snoop has. plus, what is snoop gonna do, come with some diss from the 70's funk era? or better yet, how about a 'girls gone wild' diss. maybe he'll have a lollipop in his mouth like in the WC video

kurupt has fallin off wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy more than snoop in my opinion i mean snoops flow is different, and i don't like when he does that 70's shit either but when he raps it is way better than kurupt all the songs he rapped on in welcome to the house were tight, and you brought up the wc video but i think your forgetting snoop murdered that track...........honestly i haven't heard kurupt on a track where he really actually made sense for a while he's like "fuck a bitch eat a dick this dpg bitch nigga eat a fat dick" thats about as far as it goes these days i mean snoop outshined kurupt on his own cd last time

Toothbrush:

I agree with you somewhat.  Kurupt cam so dam hard and hungry on "The Chronic" & "Doggystyle."  After that...he started falling off.  He lost that sound in his voice, he started rapping slower, he just wasn't as ill as he was.  Listen to "Stranded On Death Row" compared to "It's Over."  Same goes for Snoop, just not as bad.  Imagine Dre doing a full Kurupt album in like '93!?!?!

kurupt can only take so many disses before he has to retaliate, n snoop brought it to em  hard on 2 tracks, so its on.  but to be real, fuck all the fallin off shit, neither kurupt or snoop fell off, they both still off the hook.

i think if kurupt disses snoop, snoop will have to rise to new level which he can imo
