Title: Dre & Hi-Tek
Post by: Zero4eva on September 19, 2002, 08:43:56 AM
Is Hi-Tek affiliated with Aftermath? According to an interview with Talib Kweli in a German HipHop magazine, Hi-Tek is currently workin with Truth Hurts, Rakim, Snoop Dogg & 50 Cent. Moreover, he's busy workin on his sophomore release. Is there some kind of connection between him & Dre?

He'll stay on Rawkus. That lable is an artist dream, since they allow their rappers and producers unlimited freedom. But learning from Dre ain't bad. And why not work with more people that are affilated with something other than your self. I heard Hi-Tek and Snoop are cool, so get connected with more people, and more exposer will allow bigger sales, and artist growth. It's all good.

He's like affilliated with Aftermath.  He did Shaunta's first Math track, and he will work on her album too.  We know he has been working on "OH MY GOD."  It's a good thing to have this sort of association, like Quik has one now too.  Especially now that Kweli has dumped him for more commercial beatsmith's like Kanye West.
