Quik seems like hez tryna leave the westcoast underground scene and break in2 the commercial scene. Big ups 2 him ...he deserves the commercial success. and im sure quik will have a couple track w/ the classic Quik sound.

Chingy will NEVER sound tight, I dont care who produces the track. T.I. is nice so that should be a good track. I hope he bring Crooked I in to do a track.

A cool interview with a real cool dude. And as for the Chingy & T.I. business - you don't see their albums in my collection, but I'll listen to what Quik & them come up with before I judge.
It was such a trip back when he said he retired... Real glad he's changed his mind about that.

not as personal as the dubcnn interview, but interesting just the same
i find it hilarious that people bitch and hate on people that work with artists like chingy, but when it comes to DJ Quik he's revered just the same
that being said, quik is one of my five most favorite producers, and i'd really love to see him blow up -- dude deserves it. if it takes working with bullshit cocksucker chingy to do it, so be it. chingy's shown him some love in public, and more power to quik for it.
