Those soliders in the picture are Navy Seals. Thats some dark shit right there. They dont mess with the nudity or anything. There holding guns up to their heads. Not to mention they got blood all over them.
What i wanna know is, who is dumb enough to photograph this shit?

the real question is why the military is allowing/ordering this to happen? its discusting if you ask me. its a shame america doesn't have a sytsem of holding their politicians/army command responsible for their actions. although thats not to imply britainn hasn't been implicated in such things but no way on the scale of the american wrong doings. i guess this is part of the hearts and minds campain right?

A group of US civil rights attorneys has brought suit in Germany against Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld over the torture case.
Although US military spokesmen keep suggesting that the torture practices were confined to a few soldiers in the lower ranks, and that the photos were mere trophies, Seymour Hersh has argued that the soldiers were ordered to humiliate and photograph the prisoners as a way of blackmailing them into becoming informants for the US. The Americans were depending on Orientalist works like Raphael Patai's The Arab Mind in finding ways of controlling Iraqis, and were convinced that threatening males in an honor society with humiliation was the key.
The downside of using humiliation against a man whose life revolves around his honor is that he is thereafter bound to hate you, and to someday take his revenge. I wonder how many of the "insurgents" who have blown up so many US troops had been "controlled" this way in Abu Ghuraib or elsewhere.

No im not saying this isnt bad, or this shouldnt be happening.
What im saying is i know this stuff goes on. Im sure most people do know this goes on. Do you think we were civilized to the vietnamese in the war? Of course not. And its not just the americans. In war both sides are guilty of things.

true but we shouldn't just accept this is going to happen, and actually do something to ensure it doesn't happen. especially as its highly damaging in the properganda war no matter what the detanies have done.
