ok, I have photoshop. I have never really used it and don't know how.
It only lets me save it as a photoshop file. how do I save it as a jpeg or a bitmap?
and how do I do it (cut out part of the pic) with photoshop?
thanks for the help.

In MS Paint, there's a lil thing you can click on it looks like a box made up of broken lines... that enables you to outline/select a part of a picture... then just outline that part, click on EDIT---> CUT
-
that doesn't actually cut the picture. It still leaves a white area the size of what you cut out.

Ok so just cut out the part that you do need... open a new file, and paste it...

damn thats a good idea, I never thought of that. I already figured out a way around it, but that is a good idea.

All of that is easy with ACD See, easily the best program for simple editing/viewing/organizing pictures.. 8)
