Title: Bad news for the British 2005 General Election
Post by: Don Rizzle on February 06, 2005, 04:13:46 PM
Labour have hired American election experts famed for the most intrusive campaign ever seen in america, floating voters face a barrage of cold calls advertising emails and personalised properganda. I'd much rather have a clean fight over the issues, not a repeition of the american election.

That's a shame, I've always hated the dirty mudslinging in politics.
I don't profess to be any sort of expert on British politics, but from what I do know I'd like to see your Conservative party win, the leader is Howard right?

Yeah man campaigning in America sucks.  It doesn't matter what side of the fence your on, the public responds to lies, exagerations, and propaganda so both sides go ahead and try and market their way to victory.

Howard is the australian PM
Another Howard is also the leader of the British conservitive party.

I'm still unsure on who to vote for, conservatives have come up with some good plans but how realistic they are i don't know they seem to want to cut taxes and while improving front line services. foreign policy wise there would be no change, hopefully they can produce some tax reductions tho. labour recently have been trying to pull the rug from underneith the tories by copying all their election campaign pledges and the lib dems are too far to the left for me, but i'm not a fan of michael howard hes an opportunist and lets not forget he caused roits over the poll tax last time the tories were in power!
