Title: JADA responds
Post by: wilz on February 27, 2005, 12:23:20 PM
Jadakiss- "...50 isn't famous for lyrical talent, because their is none, 50 is famous for a gimmick, 50 is famous cause he got shot, 50 is famous cause he talks about guns, 50 is famous because Eminem hyped him up, you know what I'm sayin how you gonna call Ja a wanksta for doin love songs, when you doin the same thing.
Ja was the same as 50 when he first came in the game he was a gangsta rapper, then he started doin love songs, and whats 50 doin now? love song singel on buck's album, on Bank's album, *imatating 50-"Just cause a nigga thuggen don't mean he don't wanna see you smile"* {laughs} please... doin singels with that lil r&b singer joe or whatever his name was, and whats d-block puttin out?
My first singel off the album was "Times Up" a street anthem, whats Styles puttin out? "Locked Up" an anthem for the niggas in jail, we puttin out real music and 50's camp is over here puttin out lil corny ass commercial pop singels, how in the hell are you gonna diss me and fat joe for doin a track with ja rule, nothin was said about you...so if your motive is really cause we did a track with ja
nothin was said about you...so if your motive is really cause we did a track with ja rule then why not go back and look at every singel rapper who has ever done a track with ja rule and start beef with them? I mean if that really is your motive right? no..because thats not a real motive its a gimmick to draw controversy over his album, and its workin every onetalkin bout it, but I think this time its gonna back fire in his face he cant handle all this, and all these people are fallin for his gimmick, so how you gonna diss me for doin a song with your enemie, when your boss...the whole purpose you got singed is on my album? Eminem your boss the reason your eatin is on my album shoutin out d-block a million times in his verse, eminem has been quoted serveral times sayin he thinks im one of the illest and realest, and eminem is on fat joe's lean back remix talkin bout "fat joe, the spokes person for the latino" sittin here on both our tracks clearly shoutin us out and showin his respect, and then 50 gonna try and start beef
with us, so your gonna say you dissed us for doin a track with ja when your 2 biggest threats right now have tracks with your boss right? Sell all the records you can this aint a battle for record sales man, this is a battle of lyrics...so you want beef?...you got it"

Apparently this is legit but i have my doubts cos he disses Joe by sayin whats his name (not Fat Joe) and then disses Ja by comparing him to 50. post ur thots tho. This is form the Jadakiss website

but he still put out street singles, and even political singles. He tried to branch out, and create a more balanced sound.

So fucking true I think Jada kills him lirycly but he wont end his career I think no1 is able to end 50's career at this moment.

In the year 2001, Jay-Z was on top of the rap world. Nas was seen as washed up and ruined. Ochie Wally had taken out all of Nas's hardcore steam, and Jay-Z just released a classic album. Bot dissed each other, and Nas won the battle, taking Jay-Z's cred, and then Jay-Z followed with the wacked The Gift and the Curse. After that, Jay-Z's career didn't end, but it got hurt. All it takes is one great diss, and Styles P has proven to put out tight radio friendly street songs like I Get High and Lock'd Up. With Jadakiss, and his new controveral reputation, it is possible. The one that I C knocking 50 down is Nas himself. I don't think Nas will take this laying down. And Nas can come from no where to take down the commerical giant. 50 is burying himself, look at who his chosing to diss. If he can get passed the Lox and Nas gauntlet, he'll be a legend, maybe hit LL Cool J rep for battling when LL dissed Kool Moe Dee, MC Hammer and Ice T. If not, he'll be another artist that bit off more than he can chew like Canibus or Ja Rule when he responded to 50 by dissing basically Interscope records. So this is 50 Cent do or die time, and I think this is exactly what he wanted. He wants to go down as a legend, or kill his career trying. We'll see.

^^ How did Nas hurt Jay-Z's career ???
Blueprint vol.2 went 3x platinum, Black Album is 3x within months, but Blueprint only went 2x, plus many people consider Black Album classic..
Now Def Jam president.. if that's how you hurt careers, then it maybe isn't a bad thing at all.  :D

I can see Nas taking 50 in a battle, but 50 already sold more in 1 album than Nas in his whole career, so I strongly doubt that 50 will be hurt careerwise.

Someone's gotta go at 50 and soon...with his album coming out in a few days, what better way to stick it to him then to rip him apart lyrically right now. D-Block can do some damage but if we're taking knock-out blows...Nas, hands down. Ether II NEEDS to happen.

i would LOVE to see nas or jada and the d-block or even fat jack ass joe diss 50 cent and eminem and dre sit back and watch.  50 always running his fucking mouth now its time he put in work without buck and banks yayo and you know The Game.  welcome to d-block w/ eminem lean back remix w/ eminem and dre did work with nas on group therapy and the firm and eminem produced that song for nas "the cross". i dont know what 50 snitches problem is.  he like a fucking little kid or should i say it Tupac wannabe (like Ja rule) he wants all eyez on him. tupac had all eyez on him cuz he was real and not for being shot. *50* *cough* just like on the two seconds of the Makaveli cd when you swear that some one is saying "suge shot him" 50 next cd is going to say "Ja shot him" lol.

what jada is saying is 100 % true.....but like i said it's going to take ALOT to bring 50 down, it's going to take a diss song twice as powerful as Hit em up, and honestly jada is hot on the mic but he ain't THAT hot.

Blueprint 2 sold in reality 1.5 million since it's a double CD, and for Jigga, that's a very low number. The battle also brought Nas back into the fold, hurt Jay-Z for a while and it TOOK Black Album and the gimmick of retiring before Jay-Z was able to sell like he used to. Blueprint 2 was packaged so many ways after it was considered a flop, they released Blueprint 2.1, they released Blueprint 2 with new tracks, they did everything to pick up it's sales. Nas hurt Jay-Z's street cred, and knocked him off the made up throne. The gimmick retirement is what saved Jay-Z more than anything. Average fans who loved Jay-Z were saying after the battle he needs to give it up, and he just came off a classic.

Now what 50 is doing is even more dangerous, 'cause Nas is just one of the rappers. Nas is the last artist I think any high selling star should mess with. His due for another classic album, and to put a great diss track on there would cap off that album. I don't see Eminem or Game or Dr. Dre helping 50 the same way they did Ja Rule. Ja Rule dissed everyone first, I don't see Jada doing that, or Nas. So in this, it's G-Unit vs. the world. Who knows, Jada may do what Nas did against Jay-Z and used that battle to get heard and to go platnum. But 50 Cent set himself up to lose, I don't see 50 pulling this off, unless he gots some LL Cool J in him, I don't see it happening.

Thanks for the props guys  ::)

Tupac wannabe < I think this was the media's idea to make the comparison All eyes on 50 because he said himself he would rather be compared to BIG. IMO Nas is a Tupac wannabe, i also think NAS could easily destroy 50 but does NAS he have anything left? I also thought Fat Joe made an excellent move by saying the Diss record would be on his album. Does anyone else think the Jada interview could be fake?

if you like 50 or not, you gotta respect his hustle. He got all these internet forums buzzing due to the release of the massacre, more specifically Piggybank. Everybodys talking, shit like that sells records. More women than men actually purchase records, and he got the candyshop record which is a female friendly record in heavy rotation, and all the talk about who he's dissed this time around........shit bound to do big numbers.

*jada destroys 50*

*the streets hear it and love it*

*next week on trl-brand new 50 cent video-crowd goes crazy*

I think lyrically, Jada will murder 50 and in the long run it will help his sales on his upcoming project. I heard that he called in to the radio station while dj clue was there and said that he is going to air him out. He also stated that people at the record label want to see him air 50's ass out.
Should be a good one.

if d-block goes versus g unit d-block will own them.... but d-block is street and g unit commercial.... so i don't think d-block will take a shot @ commercial unless 50 disses jada hard again... i think it's on then

i never felt 50 cents music ever since the time he came out. i dont like his style, its too comercial and he spits too many cliches, i feel the same way about Jada, i never liked the lox either. i couldnt say who could out do the other in a battle....

Now as far as fat joe goes, i dont like the new shit he did and i dont like the terror squad either, but out of the 3 i got more respect for him then any of those other fools, hes been around for a long ass time, and he can rap! Joe did some dope shit with the d.i.t.c crew, hes well respected in the hip hop community. Go back and listen to his old shit, dont under estimate big joey crack, i know fat joe can make a good battle track and diss the fuck out of 50.

Peace
