their rocafella debut "ghetto warfare" was set to be released last summer...
i cant believe their album isnt out yet... ::)
what a waste of talent
does any1 know what the deal is?
rocafella-internal problems? ???
-
Now that Rocafella has all split up MOP have joined The Dash Music Group and will have their own label under Dash Music Group
-
rocafella has all split up?
no rocafella records no more? ???
when did that happen?

answering my questions instead would have made more sense than that reply ::)

so why should i read eastcoast news day by day?

Jay-Z became president of Def Jam, bought the remaining 50% of Rocafella Records, so now Dame Dash has started his own label and the artists are split between it and Rocafella...
-
damn, MOP shouldve stayed with jayz then :-\

Jay aint buy 1 single % of the ROC. Def Jam already owned 50% of the ROC and they bought the remaining 50% too so Jay donīt own shit except for the name Roc-A-Fella.

I dunno, I used to like them for the stuff they did a couple years back, but that album really changed my thoughts on them.
-
I think it's gonna come out on Roc-A-Fella records anyway.

wtf, that was just some old M.O.P. a capellas remixed by some rock groups, it was a experimental thing.
Some of those rhymes was up to 8 years old.
-
I think they are on Koch Records now actually cuz a Koch promo rep has been sending me new music of MOP off their upcoming release

It better be... I saw it in a local record store and they don't sell mixtapes - it must have been an official release... So I gave it a listen, it really is trash. I also read something in XXL about this album, they were talking about it as if this was M.O.P's new official album, though now you're saying this project was done by some rock groups? I just hope so, that would mean I don't have to blame M.O.P for it.
