(CNN) -- A student on Monday killed two of his grandparents, then went on a shooting rampage at his Minnesota high school, killing seven people and wounding as many as 13 others before killing himself, officials said.

The sad part is they never get the bullies that were fucking with them  :)

BEMIDJI, Minn.(AP) A high school student went on a shooting rampage on an Indian reservation Monday, killing his grandparents at their home and then seven people at his school, grinning and waving as he fired, authorities and witnesses said. The suspect apparently killed himself after exchanging gunfire with police.

It was the nation's worst school shooting since the Columbine massacre in 1999 that killed 13 people.

One student said her classmates pleaded with the gunman to stop shooting.

"You could hear a girl saying, 'No, Jeff, quit, quit. Leave me alone. What are you doing?" student Sondra Hegstrom told The Pioneer of Bemidji, using the name of the suspected shooter.

Before the shootings at Red Lake High School, the suspect's grandparents were shot in their home and died later. There was no immediate indication of the gunman's motive.

In addition to the shooter, the death toll at the school included five students, a teacher and a security guard, FBI spokesman Paul McCabe said in Minneapolis.

Fourteen to 15 other students were injured, McCabe said. Some were being cared for in Bemidji, about 20 miles south of Red Lake. Authorities closed roads to the reservation in far northern Minnesota while they investigated the shootings.

Hegstrom described the shooter grinning and waving at a student his gun was pointed at, then swiveling to shoot someone else. "I looked him in the eye and ran in the room, and that's when I hid," she told The Pioneer.

McCabe declined to talk about a possible connection between the suspect and the couple killed at the home, but Red Lake Fire Director Roman Stately said they were the grandparents of the gunman. He identified the shooter's grandfather as Daryl Lussier, a longtime officer with the Red Lake Police Department, and said Lussier's guns may have been used in the shootings.

Stately said the shooter had two handguns and a shotgun.

"After he shot a security guard, he walked down the hallway shooting and went into a classroom where he shot a teacher and more students," Stately told Minneapolis television station KARE.

You can hardly blame it on bullies now can you? They didn't load the gun and MAKE him shoot a bunch of people.

He was probably a little moaning faggot anyway, with musical tastes that don't extend out of heavy metal and therefore deserved to be bullied. Shit, who here hasn't mocked someone for been different to themselves?

Columbine was. Anyways what I meant was innocent students shouldn't be shot and killed.

Early reports say the kid was white and the majority Native American kids were picking on him.

Local Minnesota news reports...

The secluded Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota has been plagued over the decades by more than its share of the seeds of violence: troubled schools, poverty, unemployment and bitter intertribal battles over basic rights and control of the reservation.

Red Lake High School scored second-lowest of Minnesota schools last year on state comprehensive tests for 11th-grade math and third-lowest for 10th-grade reading. According to the state Department of Education's 2004 report card on the school, nearly one-fourth of the 355 students required special education, and the school failed to meet federal standards for reading and math. Four in five of the students met government poverty standards making them eligible for free and reduced-price lunches and other benefits.

On the reservation, which is largely closed to outsiders, all of the Red Lake High School students are American Indian, the state report said.

While school shootings have become a tragic reality for American students from a range of ethnic and economic backgrounds, many of the Red Lake students were born into a legacy of violence. And teens have lost their lives in earlier flare-ups on the reservation.

In 1979, dissidents staged an insurrection after tribal leaders removed one of the dissidents' sympathizers from the Tribal Council. Five armed dissidents broke into the reservation's law enforcement center and took several hostages. The FBI quickly ordered all police and sheriff's officers off the reservation, saying they faced life-threatening gunfire.

With no police presence on the reservation, dissident tribal members captured the police department's weapons and raided the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs storage area for confiscated liquor.

Then the insurgents set the law enforcement center on fire and went on a rampage of shooting and looting. The home of Roger Jourdain, who was then the tribal chairman, and other government buildings were burned to the ground.

When the rioting ended, two teenagers were dead of gunshot wounds, several were wounded and about $4 million in property was damaged, primarily by fire.

Five men were convicted and sentenced to prison in connection with the rioting.

In the 1980s, there was more unrest at the reservation over allegations of civil-rights abuses. Lawyers had been barred from tribal courts, and defendants were routinely denied bail, jury trials and other rights that federal laws were supposed to extend to Indians.

In 1986, a Red Lake band member, Gregory Good, accused Chief Tribal Judge George Sumner of running a court system that violated civil rights. One night after a dispute, Good shot Sumner to death. After hearing that Sumner had chased and beaten Good, a federal jury accepted arguments of self-defense and acquitted Good of homicide charges.

Under pressure of a losing federal funding, tribal officials moved to improve the courts during the 1990s.

Because of its isolation, Red Lake has had little luck with casino gambling, which has pulled some Minnesota Indians out of poverty. While the tribe has run casinos, revenues have been relatively low and many of the customers have been Red Lake residents.

Red Lake has pulled itself up recently, reducing its poverty rate during the 1990s, but more than four in 10 residents remained unemployed, according to a recent census report. During the 1990s, a new generation of tribal leaders also moved toward a more open and less autocratic government than the reservation had known earlier.

this is the local Minnesota news. Don't listen to all reports, some media lies to you.

RED LAKE, MINN. -- News conferences and a pipe ceremony are scheduled today in reaction to the Red Lake shooting rampage that killed 10 people, including seven at a high school.

At 10 a.m. leaders of the Red Lake Band will hold a news conference. The location has not been announced.

At 10:30 a.m., doctors at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji will give a news conference. Three of the victims remain in the hospital.

At noon, law enforcement officials will have a news conference at the Red Lake Detention Center.

And in the 2 p.m. in the Twin Cities, Indians will hold a pipe ceremony at the Capitol in St. Paul.

In other developments:

*MeritCare Medical Center released the names of two injured students at about 9 a.m. today. Jeffrey May, 15, is in critical condition and Steve Cobenais, also 15, also is in critical condition. The boys were flown to the hospital by helicopter from Bemidji, one arriving at 5:45 p.m. the other at 7 p.m. Jeffrey's grandfather, Doak Cobenais of Granite Falls, Minn., said at midnight that his grandson was in surgery.

Three other victims remained at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji. One of them is in the intensive care unit, KSTP-TV reported this morning.

*Michael Campion, state public safety commissioner, said during a news conference this morning that the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been assisting the FBI in the investigation. He also said access to the highway leading into the Red Lake Indian Reservation has been restricted. "We're hope well-intentioned citizens will stay away for the time being," Campion said.

He said he did not know if anyone had prior knowledge of the killer's plan.

*Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who also spoke at the news conference, said the a day of remembrance for the victims will be scheduled in the days ahead. Planning will wait a few days and will include input from the victims' families, he said.

He described the killer, Jeff Wiese, 17, as "a very disturbed individual" who was determeined to do a lot of damage.

*A crisis team is coming together to help the Red Lake community deal with the tragedy. Campion said it would include professionals who are "culturally sensitive" to the needs of the area.

"You have a loss like this, a tragedy like this, it is just painful. It is sad," Pawlenty said. "And I'm sure that the families who are impacted is feeling enormous pain today."

"Whether you are Native American or of some other cultural background, everybody hurts the same," he said.

*School in Red Lake was canceled today, but plans hadn't been made for the rest of the week.

*No motive has been give for the shooting. But the Associated Press reports today that an Internet search brought up the name of Jeff Weise of Red Lake on a Web site www.nazi.org. In the Web posts, Weise expresses admiration for Adolf Hitler and calls himself the "Angel of Death." The messages were posted last year on a Web site operated by the Libertarian National Socialist Green Party.

The thread is no longer on the Web site, but a cached version is still stored by the search engine Google.

Weise had been placed in the school's Homebound program for some violation of policy, Kathryn Beaulieu, a school board member told the Associated Press. In the program, a teacher travels to the homes of students to tutor them. Beaulieu said she didn't know what Weise's violation was, and wouldn't be allowed to reveal it if she did.

*In Bemidji this morning, talk on KAXE Radio 105.3 was about the tightly knit Red Lake community and how it will be challenging to recover from the tragedy. Callers to the community radio station also discussed Weise's family. "Nice family," said one caller, who added that people ought to be monitoring children's use of the Internet.

*At the Capitol this morning, members of the Minnesota Senate bowed their heads and clapsed their hands during a moment of silence for the victims. Sen. Rod Skoe, DFL-Clearbrook, who represents the area around Red Lake, said, "I would ask that our thoughts and prayers be with those people and really with all of us as we struggle with these violent acts in our world.''

Weise opened fire inside the local high school on the Red Lake Indian Reservation on Monday, killing seven people before turning the gun on himself.

The boy apparently shot and killed his grandfather -- a Red Lake police officer -- and his grandfather's wife before heading to the school in his grandfather's Red Lake squad car, sources said Monday night.

Floyd Jourdain Jr., Red Lake tribal chairman, said Monday was "without doubt, the darkest day in the history of our tribe."

Twelve other people at the Red Lake High School were wounded, said Paul McCabe, a special agent for the FBI in Minneapolis.

The killing spree was the deadliest at a school in the United States since the 1999 killings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., in which 15 people died and 23 were wounded.

"Our community is in shock," Jourdain said. "Our thoughts and prayers go to the victims' families. We're a small town, and everybody is stunned."

Your far from a wonderful person and I really have no reason to bother explaining why except to call you a hypocrite and if you can't yet figure out why you probably never will.  You've demonstrated plenty of times you lack the capacity to reason logically.  I'm beginning to believe you suffer from some sort of mental illness.

Oil Lobbys, that's the same for guns, laws wont change cuz lobbyz are to strong.
