Yeah..Im watching this now on CNN

He was definitely a pioneer and he went out on top.

R.I.P. Peter Jennings ABC Nightly News will never be the same :'(

Wow, thats terrible. He was really serious about fighting it.

He said he started smoking again after years because of 9/11. That's sad. RIP.

yeah ive used that excuse too.

i also picked smoking up again because i had no more pop tarts in my house.

I know, sounds liek bullshit huh? He was probably smoke 2 packs a day for 30 years.

I heard on the radio that he had been broadcasting since he was 9! 

And I didn't know he was Canadian either.
