Title: Bargain Shopping
Post by: Low Key on September 11, 2005, 10:24:26 AM
So you are on your last $30 but you need food. What's on the menu after you get back from the grocery store aside from ramen? I need some ideas.

$30 enough for a decent meal in America? If so go to a restaurant and spend the lot on something you like. On the way home smash some old ladies face up and take her purse.

I wouldn't say decent meal, but something to hold you over until the next paycheck. Those Banquet meals are great. One dollar for a couple pieces of fried chicken and some corn.

So no one has ever been on a budget before?

buy some tortillas, for 1.59 some chorizo for 1 dollars and a carton of eggs for 1.50 should last you for four days. buy a three 2 liters of soda or 89 cents eachthat should be about8 bucks and then buy a pack of pork chops for about 5 bucks and some rice....30 dollars is a lot

I'm exaggerating a little bit about being really broke but I always go to the grocery store on a budget. I'm stuck in bachleor mode but all the frozen pizzas are starting to get to me.

Try cooking spaghetti (cheap as hell) and making your own sauce or getting some pre-made sauce. Should be cheap and tastes good imo
