(This verse by me, Abdul-Infinite borrows from ideas expressed by 14th century Islamic poet Jallla-u-deen Rumi)
Dancing inside your mothers stomach/
Nobody see's you but me, I feel it, I know it/
and that sight inspires me to write/
and inspires me to do right, do more for my life/
Love runs through me I do, become, and be/
The beat of the fetus heart has secrets to tell me/
Waitin for the day when you cross over into life/
I'm there to giude and meet you on that bridge/
Take the right path and giude you on how to live/
I'll give you everything that's mine and everything I can give/
The price to be a father to you is my life/
That's a bargain price I'll buy at anytime/
If you fade, part of me fades/
how very close your soul stays with mine/
Never stray, I love you more today than yesterday/
Soon you'll be hair and bones/
My own child, I never even dreamed/
It seemed so far and distant and now it's closer to me/
Who would of thought this some years ago/
In another time and place, like a lifetime before/
A voice leaped forth and opened up doors/
And now it's time to turn the page/
and enter into the next phase of my life story
