DeCovan Kadell "Dee" Brown (born November 29, 1968 in Jacksonville, Florida) is a former professional basketball player. A 6'1" guard from Jacksonville University, Brown was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 19th pick of the 1990 NBA Draft. He spent twelve seasons (1990-2002) in the NBA, playing for the Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Orlando Magic, and he scored 6,758 total points. One of the highlights of his career occurred in 1991, when he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Brown later served as a coach in the WNBA, and in 2005 he won a one-year contract as a studio analyst for ESPN as the winner of the reality show Dream Job.

Yea, Dee Brown was a player...He only played like 14 games in 2 seasons for Orlando, going out on a sour-note can sometimes fuck up your legacy...I remember when Boston had the back-court of him and former forgotten all-star Dana Barros. He also went out on a sour-note, which made him a no one in most peoples minds. He tried to make a comeback for Boston about 2 years ago, but only played in 1 game for 11 minutes...He actually did pretty good that game, but was never heard of in the NBA after...  ???
